so im back, to update a lil about my 2011.

2011 is indeed a fast moving year for me. Lots of things happened, went through lots of shits too. gonna try and recap what i have done so far for Year 2011.

was on braces since 3rd September 2010 and afetr 15mths of painful journey to the dentist, i got it removed on 11th december 2011. hello to pretty smile already :))

managed to pay off all 4 semesters of school fees for uni and 15mths long of braces fees. the amount of money i have spent, ohmygod =/

as for school, am up to the final and last lap, the 8th module! hopefully it wont be as tough and i can successful graduate on 13th March 2012!

moving onto the 3rd year of me being a full-fledged nurse, this journey hasnt been easy, the tears i have shed aint little too. and i thank the people around me who are always so encouraging and helping me to go through those shits. yes i have learnt alot and i know i always whine and complain about my job but who doesnt? there is still that little bit of passion in me to keep the fire burning.

well, i literally partied almost, about 90% of my saturdays away for the whole of year 2011. dont know how i managed to do that but i did. not very proud of it and im already immuned to those ugly comments made so yup i chose it this way, im gonna accept what others said to me.

boyfriend has always been a hot topic for others on me and i dont know why. i cant really put into words what i have been through for this whole year. its like a mistake repeating over and over again. why so complicated? why must involve so many people? why cant things be simpler?!

nevertheless, december has been a great month for me! minus the drama part for work, the rest has been great and im serious! right, and i turned twentytwo. i can feel the love everyday! :))

then again Year 2012 is here. i just want things to be simpler, more love and happiness to me and those i cared.

HELLO :)

am back from 6 long months of haitus!

life's been very busy, very packed and very fruitful for the past 6 months. been out of Singapore 3 times and im still loving travelling. ran a few marathons and signed up for a few for the later part of the 2011 as well.

work hasnt been easy ever since, but oh welll we still have to suck it up. got promoted to the next job grade; something that i have been waiting for :) work related politics are never-ending and its so drama-liked.

made it through more than half of my university studies as well. on the 5th module now, 3 more to go. never liked school but oh well, that piece of paper is vital to survive in this man-eating society.

will be back again for more updates when im less busy.

hi world, i know this post is long due but i've simply got no time to draft it out and so, here it is now.

2010 was a year full of "first-time(s)" for me.

travelled to Phuket & Taiwan.
got my driving license in march
1 year of working as a Staff Nurse in CGH

took part in quite a few Marathons

28th May marks the darkest moment in 2010 when i heard of the news that my dearest grandma passed away. it totally came as a shock to me as she was healthy all along and the next moment she was gone. life's really unpredictable.

started school in July - Bachelor in Nursing. school was never my forte but well, this society is cruel, you cant progress on if you dont have a uni certificate. and so far, im glad to say that im doing quite alright for school :)

did something that also changed my life! okay exaggerating. went to visit the dental in August, had 4 tooth extractions ( which is by far the most painful and tortorous thing that i have ever done. & braces were put on in September! progress seems to be pretty good and hopefully i can get it off within a year!

im quite amazed and at the same time damn proud of myself too. expenses for overseas travel, braces, car license, new laptop, school fees are all paid by myself! sometimes i really wonder how i managed to do all these even though im always damn broke by the end of the month :(

not forgetting that i turned TWENTYONE this year, something which everyone is looking forward to but im not. it simply marks that you are of legal age, able to do things without parental consent. but still, TWENTYONE makes me feels that i've got more responsibility in the things i do.

the entire 2010, i can say that the last three months towards the end of the year was the most messed-up months of all. i literally went through hell with work, school, r/s issues. literally clubbed every single week, sometimes twice, drink drank and got drunk. without fail, every one/two days, i'll end up with tears, my mind wasnt able to function properly. worked and worked till i dropped to numb myself. then got myself into some f*ed up situation that till now im still unable to get out of it.

pretty much sums up my 2010. even though i fell and got hurt at some point of time, still wanna thanks those who stood by and pull me up, appreciate all the naggings.

everyone always says that next year will be a better year. i really hope so too. 2011 will definitely be a better year for me :)

COUNTDOWN TO 2011

on the last day of the year, headed down to Sentosa Siloso for Countdown Party! the journey there by car took us quite some time due to the bad traffic jams everywhere! nevertheless we were all very excited when we see the deco and the crowd over there!

queued for the collection of the entry tags and head back to the basement carpark for drinks first since alcohol cant be brought into the beach!

how can camwhoring be forgotten? :)

chilled there till 11.30pm and we went back in to queue to enter the beach. ended up we had to run all the way in as 12 midnight was nearing. fireworks never fails to amaze me each time i see it :)

saw quite alot of friends counting down at Sentosa toooooo! danced the night away at the beach. seriously, bangalas should be banned from the beach party, cause they just cant keep their hands to themselves, damn pissed off with them for the night.

never a good idea to hang around the beach at 4/5am in the morning cause the wind blowing from the sea is freezing cold to the max =x

had MAC breakfast at tampines and headed home to sleep at 8am in the morning.

AWESOME TWENTYFIRST - PART 3

decided on SUKI-YA @ Marina Square for dinner buffet :) it was a bad experience over there. the service was lousy, manager was rude, food was so-so, crew's attitude was stuck-up. left the place feeling lousy but thankgod the company of friends were great :)

walked down from Marina Square to the floating platform and then to esplanade area. the view that night by the water was simply breath-taking. me likes the lights that the wishing balloons emits on the water at night, and the colour changes from blue to green to pink to yellow to green and purple!

then one by one, they started to disappear to somewhere for a long time, saying that they need the toilet -.- and by the time everyone was back, it was already past 12 midnight! and they brought out the card and present for me :) and also a muffin from starbucks to replace the cake :)

head over to the fullerton hotel to snap some polaroids :)

had a wonderful night out with them. thankyou all :)

AWESOME TWENTYFIRST - PART 2

after i parted with my girls, i headed over to Hard Rock Cafe where the rest already had met up!

first time there and the environment looks pretty good with the band singing. and my seat wasnt even warm for 30mins and i was made to go up on stage to dance with the emcee to the song: Dancing Queen! it was actually my all-time-favourite-song cause im always seventeen! ^^

they brought out a cake for meeeeeeeee! :)

next up was Kumar's show. OMG he is really damn freaking funny to the max with all his racist and yellow jokes if you can get it. definitely gonna go back on a monday just for his show! really had a good time laughing-out-loud to it. at least, it made smiled. not forgetting that i got called up on stage again, special thanks to my dear friends. got to dance in front of the audience again =/ ended it with a shot drank on the stage.

heinkein + waterfall + terquilla + ? shot drank on my birthday.

AWESOME TWENTYFIRST - PART 1

I TURNED TWENTYFIRST ON THIS DAY! ^^

many thanks to those who wished me via sms, facebook, twitter, phonecalls, face-to-face, celebrated for meeeeeee! totally appreciate all those who made my TWENTYFIRST an AWESOME one :)

oh well, was feeling quite down one day before my birthday till the actual day itself. not sure why but i just cant seems to be happy. cant seems to feel happy at all. oh well, maybe its the 21ST.

anyway, met up with my POLYMATES @ NEX. im just lousy in directions, can even get lost at the shopping centre -_- SIGH.

roamed around and decided this place for dinner. everywhere was simply just crowded and its only a MONDAY!

i liked the duck but too bad i cant eat much due to the braces and im lazy to use my hands :(

and they surprised me with a set of Victoria Secret's Perfume flown in from Australia. thanks girl, deeply appreciated it :)

and so i spent X'MAS morning at work. i had a good time recieving chocolates from my patients, relatives, nurses and doctors! and one doctor hand-made gingerbread man cookies for us! :)

work seems a lil better when there's chocolates to munch on :)

head home to prepare to meet my dearest girl for X'MAS dinner ^_^

dinner was settled at SWENSONS. coincidentally we chose the same main-dish and not forgetting the awesome sides too! and i ended up having to finish everything cos someone is full when im not.

seriously, im still not full when dinner is over.

roamed around and caught the midnight movie, Meet the Parents: Little Fockers! i swear the movie was totally hilarious to the max! cinema was full house and i had a great time laughing out loud tooooooooooooo :)

gift exchange was awesome roooooooooo! :) nice way to end XMAS :)

finally i have some time for this small lil space over here.

december is always my favourite month of the year. not cause its a birthday month, but its a month full of festives and other celebrations!

Standard Chartered 42.195km Marathon on the 5th Dec!

it started out pretty ok at 5am in the morning, but as it goes by, my ankle starts to give me problems and the bloody sun is so damn scorching hot to the max. gave up at 36km, back to starting point via ambulance. ankle swells and hurts damn bad. not to mention im badly sunburnt. urghhh, the route for this year's marathon is really lousy to the max :(

Ward Chalet Day 1 & 2 (13th &14th) at Downtown East Chalet! it was a pretty awesome one with colleagues bringing their lil ones along to brighten up the day. the tiring part is to having to work and going back to chalet for the 2 whole days. not forgetting that they had fun making me drunk =/

and my usual wednesday night dose of clubbing with my girls :)

thursday night after work was spent rushing through my assignments plus the never-ending sjab work to be done. and im off to 5days4nights of St John Training Camp after work on friday.

5days4nights of minimal sleep, non-stop thinking, never-ending fun. what matters is the things that they have learnt from the camp itself.

with that, i realised its been 8 days since i slept on my bed. and i sprained my poor ankle again :(

at times, i really hate working. can you imagine me having to work after i ended camp for night shift and continue with work the next day? totally screwed-up roster.

another girl turns twenty-one! :)

head over to Orchard ION for dinner! not to mention the fact that i waited alone for 1 hour at Orchard Station by myself. they're getting worst, last time was 10 to 15mins late, now its an entire hour! but i still patiently waited for them *roll eyes*

dinner was at this Japanese Restaurant: AOBA. the ramen tasted good but the one at central is even better! dont really liked the soup base cos it gets saltier as eat. its like we're back to our poly times, whereby we talked and laughed real loud and ignores stares around us :) but the sudden bad cramps had to spoil everything - lost my appetite instantly :(

mouth itchy for some coffee/chocolates drinks and cakes and we moved on to TCC. liked their drinks, always love chocolates no matter what form it is in! think its monday night, everyone is going back home so early; like by 9.45pm, there's only us left at TCC. oh well.

that was the usual Sakae Sushi Dinner Buffet that we usually had before we clubbed. was last thursday if i remember correctly. to PLAY, a unique club; a new experience!

just realised the last i updated was on 1st november. thats like 18 days ago? cant deny that im busy. busy working, busy schooling, busy with social life. my life seems pretty exciting to me, the impromtu meet-ups, the hectic workload, the never-ending assignments and deadlines, the usual clubbing sessions with my girls, the shopping trips which never fails to burn a big hole in my wallet.

and oh, i remember there was one night, where i had to stay up for assignment submission, and poor me had no sleep throughout, went for work the next day, and till late in the night. 44hrs without sleep. it was terrible trying to stay awake for the entire 2 days.

never forgetting my usual clubbing dose. my girlfriends are loved and its great hanging till late/early morning with them. but still, i went for work in the morning, just somehow managed to drag myself out of bed. *and seriously i dont care if you're rolling eyes at this cos this is my life and you have no say in it.

lets just say my life's pretty screwed up right now. i have no idea what the fcuk im thinking, what the hell im doing. every now and then, i'll get the guilty feeling and then getting myself miserable all over again. players in the game of love; so true aint it? how else to differentiate from lies and truth? i guess there's no more truth anymore, everyone lies in order to get what they want, to get what they think is the best for them.

im tired of everything that is going on right now.

Hallo ~ to ~ the ~ Ween ! ^^

last saturday night was crazily awesome to the max i swear. minus the fact i was darn tired after afternoon shift + i waited for 1hr+ for them to fetch me from tamp -.- but nevertheless i had fun dressing up for the night!

so we created a mess of blood (red food dye) + powder + alcohol at the carpark area -.-

Clarke Quay was damn crowded with all the ghosts and hollow man and witches and more! some was freaking scary please. everytime i turn my head, i'll see a hollow man behind me -.- not to mention all the queues at the clubs were damn long. head to Arena instead cos there's friends inside waiting for us!

had fun bumping into different kind of people inside and i swear i was damn freaking shocked when i saw the guy who stalked me last week appeared beside me. *&%*(&#&#$&# obviously i had to get away from him again -.-

a crazily happening night till 5.30am in the morning. i swear i knocked out the moment i reached home. had a hard time getting the red food dye off my skin, ended up going to work with red-stained fingers -.-

another girl turns 21st :)

went for Mala Steamboat at bugis for dinner! love the steamboat there, thats the only place that i'll choose to go if i want to eat Mala Steamboat cos the food there is awesome :) but then i only took abit of the Mala stuffs cos my voice was very bad and cui to the max already :(

surprised the girl with a lil cake and a birthday song :)

walked over to illuma to have greentea icecream at the roof-top area. nice place to relax and chit chat but we ran away after a black xiaoqiang appeared in front of us -.- damn it.

the rest went back while i head to the bus stop alone and wait for them to pick me up. looked damn stupid waiting at the bus stop for an hour + :(

wednesday night = ladies night and we headed down to dbl O ^^ surprised another birthday girl and she was closed to tears when she saw the cake! :)

that night in the club i got stalked again *&#*$&## like why is it always me? -.- made me got scared only cos he followed and appeared wherever i go *(&$*%$$

Nike City Run, 10km!

this year nike run was at the same starting point as last year. 12000 participants this year! and i totally love the colour of this year's running tee; luminous yellow! :)

but i just hate running next to the road when cars are passing by, cos breathing in the engine smoke as i run makes me feels breathless :( some said that this year's route seems to be shorter than last year but i find that its the same! and as i ran, i recall-ed the feeling that i had when i was running the exact same route for Stan Chart last december; freaking tiring!

so happy with my timing for 10km, 1hr5mins! :) my best timing ever! :)

now someone please pull me for weekly jogging session please. Stan Chart 42km is just next month!!!

dinner at Din Tai Fung, my favourite place to have the xiaolongbaos; the other place was Crystal Jade. xiaolongbaos are like the best food to have, can have lots and lots of it and you wont get sick of eating it :)

slacked at mac while waiting for the rest to pick us up! waited there for like an hour + and the best thing to kill time is to cam-whore. these are just some of the nicer ones that i picked out :)

we found a new place after Supper Club closed down. Dbl O :)

just love ladies night :) awesome night with the awesome girls :) minus the fact that i got stalked by 2 guys the entire night, that was just so -.- no hangover the next day, i liked!

New Balance Real Run 2010, 15km!

the 2nd run of the year for me, after Passion Run. skipped Adidas Sundown 21km due to funeral, skipped Yellow Ribbon Prison Run due to gastrics. so i should have ran for 4 marathons if things dont happened.

anyway, the sky looked pretty good in the early morning, but in actual fact its damn freaking hot when its around 8am + :(

but still i think my timing was not that bad the fact that i didnt train nor ran long distance for a few months! 2hrs 15mins and i got a bad ankle pain after that :( sprained ankle from the mac ritchie recee didnt heal well thus i felt pain when i was running halfway :( sigh.

a good start for my 42km marathon in december!

PS Cafe at Dempsy Road was awesome! :) i'll never forget how tempting the desserts looked! will and must dropped by again for their awesome desserts! :)

Mac Ritchie Reservoir for recee some time last week!

it was a long long walk down the trail; the muddy waters, the rocky roads, the monkeys, mosquitoes attacks, scorching sun. but we still had fun exploring the different routes!

and we got scare by monkeys twice -.-

got an sprained ankle after the recee. well oh well, improper shoes for recee caused it :(

realised that lots of people actually went jogging over there, but wonder how they did it caused the paths are really rocky and slippery, so hard to run! oh well.

imagine going through the trail again and again.

thats what matters.

went JB sometime last week. cabbed down to woodlands checkpoint. (lazy) and bused in to JB. changed money and started shopping. things are cheap and contact lens solution are like half price over there. bought lots back to stock up :)

as usual we got hungry pretty fast and settled for lunch at stonegrill. seriously, the food there is awesome, a must to go there if you go citysquare at JB!

continued shopping and taxi-s in JB are worth taking. but the meter there goes by the speed of the cab. if he's speeding, the fare will be much higher.

back to singapore at near midnight. will go back in for good food again :)

last monday after work, the clever me went home in the heavy rain and reached home totally drenched; dripping with water. that night after meeting itself, i came down with high fever,flu, cough and everything else.

but still, i was pretty stubborn, i went ahead with clubbing, work and everything else despite feeling unwell. and after a lousy saturday afternoon at work, cos i was practically coughing every few minutes, my voice was damn sexy and i had patients asking me to go drink herbal tea, i went over TIMBRE@SUBSTATION to chill with the rest of my girls.

i didnt know the ambience there was so great! me likes the band :)

then we head outside to celebrate the october babies birthday :)

cabbed home at 3am in the morning. lots of stuffs went through my mind, and its time to put a stop to everything.

as much as we wanted to go SUPPERCLUB on a wednesday night, it was closed. plans changed and we headed down to St James Powerhouse instead. just the queue itself took us like forever to get in.

5 free drinks for each person x 6 = 30 free drinks = 3 jugs of vodka cranberry, 5 breezers, 5 heineken, 5 tiger beers and 5 shots. we nearly went crazy trying to finish up everything.

but still, we had fun, the crowd was great; just too many people, way too many, worst than zouk please. and obviously there's some hanging around asking for numbers, as usual.

i cant exactly remember, but i think there was one point of time that i just sat down outside the toilet, dont ask me why, my head was spinning, i cant walk straight, and some idiot was trying to make it worst via sms.

never head home at 4am in the morning. i dont know if its just suay but its the second time we got into a road block (*&#$^# thankgod its not the traffic police, just the normal ones, got through after I/C was checked.

still have a phobia going home after club after what happened on that saturday night.

and i had the hangover feeling till i went for night shift the following night.

life has been pretty exciting for me i say. saturday was never a stay home day for me, especially at night.

and it was to SUPPERCLUB on saturday night. and they never failed to check my IC, and still must question me whether am i the person in the IC -.- do i looked that different from the past?

it was like drink drank and maybe drunk. its was the usuals : vodka cranberry, vodka coke, vodka orange and i think martell shots or something, cant really remember now.

and so we hailed a cab at 4am and head home. didnt know it will turn out to be that scary. imagining someone from the club following you all the way back home and you didnt even have the slightest idea. that was like totally scary, plus the fact that we wasnt exactly sober.

my eyes were swollen that night, too much tears i think.

18/10 Officer Training Course Commissioning Parade

Parade was held on the 18th Sept at Nee Soon Camp. i still remember how we waited for 45mins just for a cab. damn asshole okay.

anyway, the 4 flowers from EV Corps were commissioned as officers on that day :) bet they have been waiting for very long! congrats to them! :)

last wednesday was a day of eat shop and partying at night! :)

head over to ann's house in the morning to complete my online exam, with the help of her hubby of course. and not forgetting to play with edelweiss tan :) love to pinch her cheeks :)

cabbed to town as usual -.- headed for our pedicure! lovelove the colour of my toenails now!

not forgetting that we're always hungry, totally lost count the number of times we stopped for food! Coffee Club as tea break and the calamari is sweet to the max. i looked kind of stupid cutting it up to small lil cubes just to put into my mouth to chew =/

neoprints! been 123456 years since i last took it!

random walked and shopped and spent money and im seriously damn broke now :(

Sushi Tei for late dinner before supperclub so that we wont drink on empty stomach! salmon is really the favey food to order for me! :) soft for me to chew on tooooo!

cabbed again to Supperclub at Oedon Tower. i think we got a lil lost there -.- waited for the rest and in we go! vodka lime vodka orange vodka cranberry vodka coke but sadly there's no lychee martini =/ and i always ended up doing stupid stuffs over at the dancefloor. head home a lil drunk at 4am and was damn suay to got into road block -.-

needless to say, h.a.n.g.o.v.e.r the next day at work.

i still remember, that friday night when i was on night shift, i was awake for like 28 hours; rushing assignment, going for meeting and working. nevertheless, i had 2hrs of sleep before heading out to meet up with my primary school mates! :)

i think i looked damn cui that day :(

decided POPEYES for dinner that night. its's the first time im bitting into fried chicken ever since i had on braces. and they couldnt stop laughing throughout the meal just by looking at me struggling to eat the chicken :(

had my favourite mashed potatoes tooooo!

roamed around the airport looking for a nice spot to settle down. went to T2 and started cam-whoring! and of course we monopoly deal for a few hours! that card game is damn addictive please :)

home sweet home in the "early morning" and concuss for a few hours before morning shift starts again :(

dental appointment on friday. always cant help but feel damn scared and nervous when im reaching the place. the fear of lying on the dentist's chair. sigh. and the whole process of gluing, putting on the metal brackets, tying up the metal wire, pulling of the teeth to tighten it, it takes about 1 hr plus to complete it.

thanks everyone. so many of you drop me smses to show concern :)

am having difficulty in pronouncing some words, eating properly. and i hate it when the food get stucked onto the braces. feel very irritated when it happens.

sigh. my gastric problem is getting from bad to worst these days. the pain was so bad that tears just drop by itself. ended up i didnt even go for the Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 10km today. upsets*

i never got the chance to tell you that, no matter what happens next, i had never regret every moment I spent with you.

went for seafood dinner on one of the days at Old Airport Road. remember the last time i went there was 2 years ago? and now its so convenient to have dinner/supper over there cos of the circle line.

sotongs / chilli crabs / la-la / satays / man-tou / sting-rays. and i spent quite long just to chew on the sotongs =/ chilli crabs is still my favourite. not forgetting man-tous too!

just love how small kids can run around with so much freedom, so carefree, and they dont have to think about every single damn thing.

on school, me attended 4 days of lectures and without fail, i'll always doze off midway =/ had health assessment practical exam on the last day, totally nerve-wrecking please. studied till 2 am the day before and overslept the next. no worries, still punctual though. and after 30 minutes of assessment, the lecturers nodded their head and YAY I PASSED :)

night shift tonight. back to bed, crossed fingers pray hard tonight will be good. it must be.

at least now we are on talking terms again.

and again, your words and actions never fails to surprise me. thankyou.

finally i've decided

to go make a dentist appointment for my braces-making! it was decision made years ago but cos i was still saving up for it, i decided to wait. so now seems like a good time to get started on it.

first appointment with my dentist; did XRAYS, made a mould of my teeth.

the second appointment was on friday, was so nervous and scared that i couldnt sleep well the previous night. thankfully xueshen came along and accompanied me. had to have 4 tooths extracted. the moment he injected the anaesthesia, i could almost faint from the pain. then he started to shake, pull, twist and turn, and after 1hr, 4 tooths came out.

i think i looked very pale when everything was done. my hands were still shaking when i was making payment. that bad okay :(

so i went home with a bad headache and the blood wont stop flowing + my saliva kept drooling cos i had totally no sensation in my mouth. 6hrs after the procedure and its still bleeding :( but no choice was real hungry so forced down a small bowl of porridge.

past 2 days was real suffering for me. had to spent 1 and 1/2 hr just to finish up a bowl of porridge. but the pain kept disrupting my sleep that i had to wake up in the middle of the night to take painkillers.

i need proper food.
i need to be able to speak properly.
crossed fingers it will get better tomorrow.
till 12 days later, it will be another new experience for me.

never forgetting the one who reassured me throughout the night.

celebrated Darren's 21st at Timbre @ the arts house. first time there cos im always going to the one at old school. and the atmosphere there was totally awesome! me likes the view by the river ^ ^

and we ordered the very-awesome-definitely-must-eat roasted duck pizza! :) the chicken wings were a lil spicy for my not-fully-recovered-throat though.

not forgetting polaroids tooooo! :)

walked down to Clark Quay after that.

head over to Tampines Safra function room for her twentyfirst! theme for the day was white/blue/black :) wore blue cos its my favourite colour tooooooo :)

food was awesome. too good till i ate more than wad i was supposed to cos my throat hasnt really recovered then. which explains why i lost my voice now :(

anyway, the games played was fun too! love her montage video. looking at the pictures of us 10 years ago, we went like oh-my-god lots of times!

its always five of us. though donovan is still stuck in australia, he's still not forgotten!

it was Singapore's 45th birthday on Monday!

though it was nation's birthday, we still had to work. no im not complaining, im not. its good to work on a public holiday, just that the time passes so damn slow. like a snail walking, im serious =x

anyway, headed down to Marina Bay Sands (smart me cos i still rmb how to go there!) waited there and we got to see our StJohn contingent. no familar faces though =x

amazing fireworks which never failed to put a smile onto my face :)

caught a last minute movie : INCEPTION.
movie was awesome, totally understood the movie except for the last part! but still i think i got it somehow :)

head to Sentosa for suntanning last week! been really really long since i went there, not even when resorts world is open.

Tanjong Beach was our choice for suntanning. Not crowded and we liked :) thankfully the day was very very sunny and we managed to tan. hot and red and tanned skin after that.

went to ann's house to see baby edelweiss! miss her so much! 11th month and growing cuter each day! :)

babies are the only people in the world who are stress-free. looking at them will always bring a smile on my face :)

last sunday was Nurses Day (Singapore) ! woke up early in the morning and head down to hospital to support my ward people for this musical dance! :) hard work paid off - we came in 3rd! :)

recieved roses/messgaes from different doctors on the day itself. like they will only treat us nice on nurses day only =x too bad there's no Doctors Day!

and back to ward for afternoon shift after that -.- seriously, totally shagged out please. but still its nice to work on a sunday afternoon. i love the quietness in the ward, like finally there's peace after the 5 hectic weekdays.

it was once my passion, and im proud to say that, its still is :)

taiwan day 6 & 7

day 6 of taiwan and we are totally sian to the max. cos its left with only 1 day at taiwan and we'll need to be back to singapore the next and start working the following day :(

initially we had a plan to go somewhere(forgot exactly where) but we kind of lost our way and gave up searching for it.

went to this place which the movie (MONGA) shooting takes place. the place is vintage and its really interesting reading and understanding how the place (MONGA) came about.

head over to 阳明山 in the afternoon! its like hiking at Bukit Timah just that the scenery there is so much nicer :) and of course the weather is damn hot, melting under the hot sun. blood got sucked by the (*%^$@@ mosquitoes over there.

packed our daily supper back to hotel and we started the long hrs of packing out luggages. i dont know how but we managed to pack everything in! we were damn scared that all our luggages will overweight. thankgod it didnt :) and not forgetting to eat the so-very-delicious cup noodles! :)

day 7 of taiwan and we were all feeling moody. cos we didnt want the trip to end do fast :( did some last minute shopping and nua-ed at the hotel till the bus came to fetch us to airport @ 4.30pm. its really very difficult dragging all the heavy luggages :(

flight was at 7.30pm and reached Singapore at 12am :) left the airport at 1am cause the luggage retrieval line got stucked -.- home sweet home :)

7days of taiwan really makes me relaxed and do nothing but just eat/sleep/shop :) if and only if i dont have to work when i come back to singapore =x

taiwan day 4 & 5

day 4 of taiwan and we were kind of exhausted from the shopping/walking for the past 3 days. so we were lazing in the hotel room thinking where to go for lunch and we ended up at this small stall by the streets. their speciality is dumplings but we ate none of them, instead we had their beef noodles. love how beef noodles taste at taiwan! :)

back to hotel for awhile cos it was raining very heavily :( we didnt want to get drenched in the rain :(

waited till the sky is clear and we head out to have our BBQ pork at this restaurant! the price is half of Singapore's! we ended up paying only $15 each for our many many plates of beefs/porks/seafood! tell me how not to love the food there? :)

head over to 五分埔夜市 for shopping again. but sadly i didnt get lots of stuffs from there =x

day 5 of taiwan and we decided to head down to TAIPEI 101 to see see look look. but the weather aint very good, it was drizzling the entire morning :(

had seafood ramen as our lunch before that.

didnt expect to buy anything over at TAIPEI 101 cause stuffs are quite expensive over that but still i brought back things from there -.-

train-ed to 士林夜市 after that we get more of our stuffs and back to our hotel. our legs are tired from walking already!

saw this totally cute and huge toy poodle at 西门町! seriously, the dog is almost the size of a golden retriever! reminds me of kenken! :)

back to hotel and nua-ed instead of packing =x

taiwan day 3

woke up with a hungry stomach on day 3 afternoon. went out and search around for food. decided to lunch at this Jap Restaurant just outside our hotel. food was tasty and i was super hungry that i finished it all damn quickly.

train-ed to 台北火车站 and change train to 基龙 after bus-ed to 野柳. the 45mins ultra bumpy bus ride up the hill can really break my back bones. back pain after the ride :(

but it was totally worth it, cause the scenery up there was fantastic to the max! the clear sky, the blue clear sea water, the breath-taking statues.

it was damn windy up there, and the sand was constantly blowing into our eyes which explains why we had to squint our eyes just to take pictures. all the sand sculptures were form naturally by the sand and wind. amazing works of the nature once again.

45mins bus ride and 1 hour train ride back to 西门町. exhausted to the max but not forgetting our usual supper + fav pearl milk tea! :)

taiwan day 2

second day, and we woke up at 12noon. slacked around and decided on the this place for lunch! was highly recommended by all. food was no too bad and i like the environment! :)

train-ed and bus-ed to 淡水, thats the place where i brought damn lots of masks and had to dragged it all back to our hotel -.- damn heavy please. roam-ed around and brought boat tixs to 渔人码头.

the scenery over there is totally breath-taking! me likes the clear blue sky and the clouds! :) just that the weather is really darn hot to the max. had shaved ice mango over there again! :)) pearl milk tea toooooo!!

boat-ed back to 淡水 and went over to 师大夜市 to shop! totally love shopping over there :) and thats our buys for day 2. can fill up a queen size bed, are we good or wad? :)

hey people! im back from taiwan! :) actually im back since last tuesday but i've got no time to update cos i started work straight away the next day :( 7 days spent at taiwan is totally loved and relaxing. like the way how we dont have to rush for anything, do whatever and go wherever we like. the exchange rate at taiwan is awesome now, totally worth it! :) spent a total of $1400 to $1500 including air tixs for this taiwan trip! and thats why im on a shopping ban now :(

flight was at 7am in the morning, checked in at 5am and was feeling sleepy to the max. slept on the plane and reached taipei @ 12pm!

bus-ed to our hotel located right at 西门町, unpacked and nua in the hotel due to the heavy rain :(

went 士林夜市 when the sky is clear and shop&eat like crazy. food is real cheap and damn tasty! shopping was even better, lowest price for a top was like Sing dollars $5 only. totally awesome to the max! :)

the big cup of red tea below only cost like $1 !! :) really damn shiok to drink when the temp at taipei was like 33to34 degress celsius -.-

not forgetting the famous 阿宗面线 which is located at the street opposite ourt hotel! our daily supper at the hotel! :)

our buys for day 1 ! :)

taiwan entertainment shows are so much better than singapore. seriously, it worth staying up late to watch it.

been like a bumble bee since afternoon, going to places to get things done and i cabbed a total of 3 times today! cant believe that i cabbed so many times, my highest record in a day :(

just started packing not long only.
IM GOING TO TAIWAN ! :D from 20th to 26th July!
flight is at 7am and i'll reach Spore on 27th July, 1230am!

checking in at 5am and they are picking me up at 4.40am. time check now is 1.10am. need to chop chop finish up my packing and get some sleep, i dont want ugly eyebags at taiwan!

head down to NHQ yesterday to be examiner for first aid exam. the rain was seriously heavy, the pavement under my blocks were flooded till ankle deep -.- and we saw a tree collapse in the middle of the highway, major traffic jam.

went back home to sleep for a hour before going for night shift. SJ events always never fails to clash with my night shift. therefore im damn cui at night, nearly concuss at work and the time seems to pass tooo slowly.

but still survived! reached home and concuss on my bed and was awaken by the delivery guy who send my wardrobe in. now i've got additional big wardrobe in my room for the extra clothes/bags and a full length mirror; i like :) but my bank acct got a hole :(

need to control my spendings.
pay day is just next weeeekkkkk!

my reading materials arrived. this marks the starts of another student's life - 1 and 1/2 year of degree course.

now i have to do all the memorizing, the assignments, the online exams, the practical assessments and everything else. the first assignment deadline is on september, 2 months from now.

basically, work have been a bitch these days. the sudden shortage of staffs, the screwed up do*tors from a&e who have been admitting nonsense cases in, the f*cked up relatives and the damn lack of sleep. no wonder everyone has been ridiculously bitchy these days.

sometimes i wonder, the more educated these people are, the more ridiculously demanding they became. doesnt being educated equals to understanding how things work? please look at the situation first before making unreasonable requests.

night shift tonight. let it be a good night, im so tired that i dont have any more energy to deal with too many things. SLEEP NOW!

National First Aid & Home Nursing Competition was held last sunday @ NanHua Primary School.

it was a long day for everyone and the competitors too. looking at cases, learning from others and cheering up our teams from Zone 8.

nevertheless, when the results were announced, we were all very happy for them. they came in 5th position.

its been long since i've got the time to sit down and blog properly.
work's roster is so screwed up that either im working straight for 7/8 days or its like pm am pm am pm am shift.

last saturday was Singhealth's Inter-hospital Cross Country! took part in the 5.8km, all the way from Temasek's Polytechnic Stadium to Bedok Reservoir and back to the Stadium.

i swear that its damn difficult to run in the rain. hate the muddy roads and rocks. completed in 35mins; had a bad stomachache that day :(

shopped on sunday and Bugis Street was damn crowded! had my favorite KOI MILK TEA though i had to queue like 30mins for it -.-

MALA Steamboat for dinner and off to Cash Studio for Ksinging till 2am in the morning :)

celebrated Esther's 21st on monday!

went to the Jap Steamboat Restaurant to eat! its really damn shiok; the meat is really tender! the place is divided into different themes: autumn, spring, summer, winter. and its really affordable to eat there on a monday cause its one-for-one for the ladies :)

nice environment, excellent service & awesome food. definitely 5 thumbs up :) worth going back there again for another round. this cafe is open and manage by 5 university students, and they themselves are the ones thats serving the customers. i like their friendly smiles *winks :)

hop over and head down to Rochor Beancurd. i like the tau huayyyyyyy to the max please. and the youtiao and soyamilk and egg tarts tooo! :)

28th May 2010, 6.15pm.
the day and time my grandma departed from this world.

everything was too sudden for me. a call from mummy at 6.28pm totally shocked me. it happened too quickly cos she doesnt have any history of heart problems. CPR and AED shock didnt managed to revive her. totally broke down at the A&E.

post mortem the next day at SGH shows the cause of death was the blockage of artery in the heart.

the last time i saw grandma was on her 88th birthday on 10th April. she was still healthy looking and smiling from time to time. that day, she told me that i was too thin and i had to eat more. that was the last sentence said from her to me.

3 days of wake under her blk at marine cresent. thanks to those who dropped by and messaged, deeply appreciated.

this morning, we sent her last journey at Mandai Crematorium Hall with all her children, grandchildren and relatives.

rest in peace grandma, you are deeply missed by us.

this entire week is like a roller coaster ride. up and down.

i thought everything seems to be on the track but then along the way, that one sentence, or rather a word makes it all crashed down. it wasnt who i though it was anymore.

i dont know who to believe in anymore.

this week, when i heard someone mention about that incident, my heart started to beat very fast. i prayed very hard that it wasnt going to end up what i thought it might be. but yes, it was. all i know was that my eyes were watery and the next moment, i walked out very fast. i couldnt let them all see.

and everything had to happen all at the same time and pull me down.

i felt so damn guilty. my bad. im lousy. im useless. im everything negative.

Passion Run 2010 @ East Coast Park

marathon event was held last saturday, 22nd May at ECP. 10km race started at 5.20pm. my back pain was killing me when i was jogging. had to stop alot of time and i even wanted to just sit down on the bench cos the pain was really too much. but im glad i didnt, managed to complete it in 1hr 15mins.

but the after effect was real bad. my back couldnt even be straighten properly :((

met the couple for the race. * credits to yanteen for the pictures!

this year's medal seems to be a lil bigger than last year.

my legs started to ache not on sunday but monday, 2 days after the race -.- thanks to those who laugh at the way i walked. but my colleagues/friends were nice enough to help me to pick up stuffs on the floor cos i couldnt really bend down, walked the extra distance to get me stuffs cos i walked too slow -.-

do you know how i felt when you said those stuffs yesterday?

IP Man 2 last week.

cant remember which day it is that i watched it. i got short term memory you see. but the movie was way awesome even though we sat at the front row! love how the movie portrays the chinese traditional kungfu and that it shldnt be despise by the others.

and then it was cafe cartel with nice chocolate banana cake :)

waited for NR7 from town for 40mins just cos i wanted to save on the midnight cab fare. and i looked kinda dumb sitting at the bus stop waiting for the bus and at the same time trying not to fall asleep.

think last week was work and work only. occupancy rate for these few days are damn high. can hit 104/105%. meaning to say the entire hospital has no more available beds but there are still 30/40 over patients waiting at the A&E for beds. very bad.

last friday was loved :))

spent the evening at ION Orchard. had dinner at this Jap Restaurant. the creamy pizza tasted good! saw many familiar faces at town. roamed around and then cabbed down to ZOUK.

was abit early so there wasnt queue at all! but there was an event at ZOUK. lotsa people and the crowd is huge! decided to booze abit before going in. music at Phuture that night was terrible horrible. totally off the mood. vodka lime tasted yucky that night too. rahhh. lychee martini is so much better. nevertheless i still enjoyed the company of my girls :))

once again, its raining now now now. for the past few days, it always rain at this time of the day and makes it a gloomy evening with dark skies and emo nemo feelings.

and i didnt manage to fall asleep during my afternoon nap yesterday which resulted in being me damn damn sleepy at the wee morning. was tossing and turning in bed, those scenes just flashed through no matter how hard i tried to put it out of my head.

was damn hungry at 3.30am.
walked down to 7-11 ; sick & tired of the food there.
decided for mac delivery at 3.50am.
BIG BREAKFAST arrived at 4.15am.
gobbled down the food within 15minutes but hunger wasnt satisfied.

out to do my usual night routine at 5am - bathing all the grannies. its either we are left with no more strength towards the end or we are damn tired or our movements are just damn slow but we finished off quite late. my back hurts damn badly :((

& i saw Walter! (my OTC'06 hotel grp mate) he's posted to my ward now. should be medical yr 2 student i think.

left ward late and home at 9.30am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

morning shift tomorrow! but im not complaining. i wont complain and i wont grumble. oh maybe just a lil cos i still want sleep. but cause cause cause tomorrow we'll be partying away at zouk later on in the night with my favourite girls i cant wait ! :)) - and this is how we destress.

Standard 4; Bravo '07 Passing Out Parade

and so it was the Standard 4's big day on saturday. starting with promotion parade in the morning. congrats to all who have been promoted :))

later on in the morning was the commencement of the parade. standing up on the podium, watching them doing the parade, i felt proud for them though i only became their Platoon Commander together with YongQing when they are in sec 2. but nevertheless, they did a great job for the POP :))

caught this cute movie with xueshen on thursday!

at first i thought it was just another cartoon movie but i was wrong! "How to train your dragon" is really damn nice. toothless is so cuteeeeeee! okay i sound like some small kid here. movie is 5 thumbs up :))

was deciding where to hang out after that and we took NR7 home. on the journey back, decided to head home to sleep instead! everyone was tired! concuss on my bed at 2am!

13th April - it marks the exact one year that i've been working; as a Staff Nurse.

this road definitely didnt start out smoothly. once after you graduate, you are thrown into an environment whereby you have to survive on your own. no more excuses like "sorry, im a student, im not sure how its done. " you are expected to deal with everything single problems that comes along the way.

and im glad to have a whole bunch of good colleagues that is always ever helpful.

this one year is neither short or long. had faced lots of challenging situations / arguements / unappreciative people but thats what makes one grow stronger. isnt it?

lots of time, people asked me how long am i gonna work in this line? am i gonna be a nurse forever? neither can i answer this question myself. but im sure, something will work out along the way :))

9th April - friday night

head over to Bugis with the girls for korean steamboat in the evening. darren joined us later on! always passed by this place but never dropped in for a meal. this time round went in, the place was small but cosy ^^ lots of variety of food and it taste pretty good too :))

last minute decided to head over to The Cathay for a late night movie! bought tickets for the 11.35pm show!

slacked around for 1 hour and we camwhored! ^^

movie was hilarious. damn damn funny. the entire cinema was filled with laughter throughout the movie! :))

ended movie arnd 1.30pm and got a car ride home ^^

had only 2 hours of sleep before heading down to EastView for First Aid Examination.

10th April - Saturday

was the CPR examiner for straight 8 hrs. damn tiring please. and my back hurts damn badly after that :((

rushed home and out to grandma's house at marine parade for her 88th birthday celebration! ^^ pictures are with my cousin at the moment.

back home and realised im running a temperature. no wonder the entire day im feeling so damn sian. bad headache too :((

11th April - Sunday

work on sunday afternoon was quite okay. but me was not feeling too good. while serving meds to the patients, suddenly felt that the room was spinning and my head was feeling damn heavy, had to squat down immediately to prevent myself from fainting. yes its that bad. and i dont dare to walk cos everything was in a blur :((

hey peeps, im back! ^^ this is how i looked now. well, not exactly cos im gonna part fringe to the side. was feeling irritable and my fringe was sort of irritating me too and so i went to the hair salon and snipped off both my fringe and well, a portion of my hair. looked like dumb dumb here.

if you think im doing a rather bad job handling all those stuffs, then so be it. i've done my best and well, humans are not perfect, mistakes will be made. if you are still unhappy over it, thats ok. cos i dont really give a damn to it too.

i dont know how and why, the money in my bank is depleting at a fast rate. wonder where i spent it on since i haven been doing any shopping lately! and i thought back, must be the food, movies and erm; i dont know?

shall start saving money! me is going TAIWAN IN JULY!!! OMG AM LIKE SO EXCITED OVER IT :))

and there's this cute and blur doctor in my ward. super duper nice and oh well, he's funny too ^^ cant believe he did that stupid face on APRIL FOOL day!

just saw some stuffs that brings a smile.

and so i spent my tuesday at yanteen's house playing mahjong with angela and huiting! got a lousy luck then. lost 5bucks but oh well, had a great time mahjonging. been long since i've done that!

work yesterday was rather weird, or should i say spooky? things are getting weirder each day. and when it happened, all we could do was to look at each other and prayed that things dont go wrong.

enough about that. work has been extremely busy. to the extent that from the time i start work till i end work, i dont even have time to drink a sip of water. yes its that busy. pretty soon, im gonna get dehydrated! new batch of drs today!!

okay, so today is APRIL FOOL. and i got fooled twice already. damn, am i too gullible or what? there still a long long day to go, no more jokes, especially at work. i must think twice when ppl tells me something today! haha.

that dream last night was so real.

last night was madly busy.

seriously, i didnt had any free time to sort of rest properly. went to work with a young girl shouting nonsense damn loudly in the ward causing a throbbing headache. i tripped and nearly fell, not once but many times in the ward. next i had weird things happening. kinda hair-standing when i think about it now. then i found patient looking pale and cold at 2am in the morning. CPR started but failed.

thats how exciting my night shift was.

all i hope for was a peaceful night shift tonight. would be best if there's nice food to satisfy my hunger in the middle of the night. and time for me to rest.

back to bed for a nap now. urghh. i looked damn cui :((

caught these 2 movies. Alice in Wonderland was pretty much of an average movie. its not that an awesome movie as some says it, maybe its because its not in 3D. When in Rome was so much better; the storyline, the quotes, the everything. had a good laugh in the cinema :)

this year it was held at Macpherson Secondary School. and it rained donkeys on the event itself. nevertheless, though there was some changes here and there, some cork ups here there, you guys sure did yourselves proud. the 2 mths of training pulls off on that day.

once again, congrats to AA1 :))

the experiences gain, the tears dropped, the joy, the teamwork; all these will be etched in your minds.

finally had the time to go online. the entire week was madly packed! i survived 4 days with only 3 hours of sleep in total. and i went hungry without a proper meal for 30hrs plus. and of course, i looked damn cui and seriously, im just going along with the flow.

celebrated Shu's 21st last sunday!
had steamboat at Bugis, went in a pub for some drinks and then had mango sago at Ah Chew Desserts!! ^^

i dont know how i managed to wake up everyday and get my ass out of the house. am tired to the extent that i can just doze off halfway while working/sitting/standing. and the dark eye bags .. :((

went for my driving practical exam today. and YES I PASSED. I GOT MY DRIVING LICENSE!!! :D can now officially drive on the road!! ^^

am supposed to meet friends at 3pm. decided to meet them later cos its still raining and im lazy =x

not forgetting that tomorrow's is the big day. InterCorps First Aid/Home Nursing Competition 2010. all the best to the teams :))

looking back at my blog archives, i realised that march is exactly the 4th year that me is blogging already! its dated way back from march 2006 till now. didnt realised i have been blogging for 4 years!

nowadays work have been extra tiring and hectic. just last night i did CPR, like again. everything was so sudden, 15 mins ago the patient was still talking, vitals signs are normal, 15 mins later, WHAM! the patient collapsed. and its almost the end of my afternoon shift, settled everything and left hospital at 11pm.

i need a full body massage. seems like the massages that i did at Phuket are all wasted the moment i start work again :((

had left eye infection due to i-dont-know-what. just that it was damn swollen and painful. went for 1st night and my eyes are already damn pain. 2nd night shift was worst, wore specs to work, my eyes were literally like this O.o had to endure till the end of shift and went back home to rest.

great. my roster is out. i have to work consecutively for 7 days before my off day. very good.

its like nothing have change but everything felt so distant.

Day 4 / Last Day @ Phuket

slept till late morning again. checked out at the main lobby and went to settle our lunch. but the place that we wanna eat is not open till 12pm. so we decided to go for another round of massage to kill time! this time round we did foot massage! ^^

settled our lunch at this restaurant. spaghetti was pretty good :))

head over to the shopping centre and did some last mintute shopping. bought like alot of stuffs again. had wanted to try this ice cream since we saw this on the first day of our trip! its really very nice. and the ice cream wont drop/melt when you turn it over! but once we walked out of the mall, within minutes, it melted already. the weather was damn damn hot please.

went back to the hotel lobby to slack while waiting for the cab to pick us up to the airport.

reached Singapore at 11pm. cabbed home and concuss on the bed immediately. next day was afternoon shift. damn tired :((

Day 3 @ Phuket - 3rd March

slept till noon and woke up with a hungry stomach. went to this thai restaurant opposite our hotel to settle our lunch. loves the Phat Thai - noodles in thailand.

went to do a full body massage again. shiok-ness. totally relaxing and its damn cheap. around $20 for one hour of massage!

slacked at the hotel while waiting for the bus to come fetch us to watch the show @ FantaSea. another 1hr journey to the destination. notice that all rides to places will take us around 1 hr to reach.

inside the tiger cave. they are really huge and they kept walking up and down.

walked around and explore the place. the place is damn big. and went for a dinner buffet which is included in our ticket! its a 5 star dinner buffet at the restaurant! but the food there was average only though there's a wide selection of food.

roamed around the Palace of Elephants. went in for the show at 9pm. had to surrender our cameras and hps at the counter cos its strictly no electronics devive. the sound systems and effects is really WOW!

head back to the hotel after the show ended. and we were really hungry. went down to 7-11 and bought instant noodles to eat. packed our lugguage and tried to stuff everything into it.

Day 2 @ Phuket - 2nd March

woke up very early - at like 6am? to prepare ourselves for the 1 day trip to Phi Phi island!

another 1 hr journey to reach the jetty.

the very clear blue water - me loves! the view is awesome! ^^

bypass the bird nest cave and monkey island too!

and we went snorkeling at one of the island. me loves the beach. the sands are so soft unlike the beaches in singapore. took photos underwater too! and we can have upclose view of fishes swimming past us!! ^^

suntanned at the beach for around 1 hour! mad hot, temp that day was around 35 to 36 degree celsius!!

back to the main island, wash up and went for dinner at this korean restaurant - a 20 mins walk from our hotel to settle our craving for korean food!

off to shopping again. this time round to carrefour. things are damn cheap over there! shopped alot! can see from the photos that im sunburnt and its very red and tanned! - painful to touch also :((

back to hotel to slack and munch on tibits. off to bed and we are all so damn tired from playing water sports!

hello people, me is back from Phuket already! ^^ the 4D3N getaway from Spore was great. Phuket was damn fun. Shopping was good! bought too many stuffs and now, i've decided to NOT SHOP for 6mths!! till now, i haven done any online shopping or wadsoever though at times im really tempted to buy.

Day 1 @ Phuket - 1st March

a 1 hour journey from Phuket International Airport to our Hotel (Rayaburi)

did a full body massage! one work - shiok!! ^^

went to see see look look around the town. did shopping too!

settled our dinner at this seafood restaurant. the chilli crab tasted like curry crab instead.

went back to our hotel. rested for awhile and then head out to watch this transvestite show - Simon Cabaret. all the "women" there are really damn damn chio please. though the moment they speaks will turn you off but their everything else is really chio.

had to pay 20bahts as tips to take photos with them!

back to hotel after the show which ended around 12am. concuss straight once we reach hotel as we need to wake up early the next morning!

this entire week was damn hectic and rush for me. got to do so many stuffs in a short period of time. and the worst thing is, trouble found its way to me and damn, its fucking ridiculous and i got fucking mad at that person! had to stay till like 11pm + on a pm shift to settle the problem and got nagged by sister the next day and the next next day. just cos my junior made the mistake and i was the overall in charge, i had to take the scoldings from the relatives.

forget it. has been damn suay since the start of the year. all the bad stuffs came and not a single good thing happen. finally had the time to go guanyin temple and pray for this year. and thanks CHUANG XUESHEN :))

head over to kaiting's house on the 14th day of CNY which was yesterday! :)) finally had the time to meet up and updates on each other lives. but the journey from simei to yew tee is damn far please.

and today, the last day of CNY, was supposed to go uncle's house for visiting but i had to settle my overseas trip stuffs so didnt went. but red packets still find their way to my pockets :))

off to Phuket from 1st to 4th March! cant wait and i still haven started packing my lugguage yet! the room is in a mess and i think its gonna be worse when im back. on pm shift for 5th march, gonna be damn tired then.

i acted like i didnt bother about it, but really, i think about it all the time. the one that i'll miss.

Saturday was a day full of events for me. and was feeling super cui the entire day.

reached home from night shift at 9am. slept for 1 hr and head down to eastview for competition training. back home @ 2pm, nap for 1 hr then went out for house visiting at Mrs Cho's. all the way till 8pm back home to change and then to work at 9pm.

the entire night was totally cui for me. tried damn damn damn hard to stay awake. plan failed and i just fell asleep on the front counter @ arnd 4am + thankgod i woke up just when the unit sister walked into the ward.

first day of CNY, head over to my grandmother's hse @ Marine Parade for dinner. no pictures taken cos everybody was busy with their own stuffs. haha. missed her cooking. i think its been almost 1 yr since i last saw her, my bad :((

second day of CNY was spent going round the EAST side of Singapore for visitng.
grandma's hse (tamp) > uncle's hse (kembangan) > aunt's hse (pasir ris) > grandmother's hse (marine parade)
my leg muscles was aching from all the walking!

caught the movie @ 11.50pm at Tampines Mall. total madness, cant believe the crowd outside the cinema. got the second front row seats = aching necks :(( ended movie at 2am + and concuss on the bed at 4am.

overslept for morning shift and rushed like crazy woman. was stoning in the ward for the entire day. thankgod its public holiday, completed my stuffs very early and stoned.

head over to kenneth's house in the evening for visitng and 3hrs + of mahjong session. LOVES. and i won $$ :)) more more more mahjong sessions please. and im so so so sorry for stepping onto kenken's paws. really, i didnt know he was behind me :((

cafe cartel for dinner with the usuals. was starving since morning, didnt had lunch though :(( as usual, we gossiped and gossiped :))

going to work yesterday was a bad bad choice. its damn chaotic in the hospital. so many admissions and the A&E was overcrowded. so much things to settle and everythings was so damn messy. plus drs are all being so fucked up, like seriously i wish i can give them a slap on the face. asshole.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR & HAPPY VALENTINE TO ALL ^^

went shopping this week and went i got home i realised all the clothes that i bought were all BLUE in colour! dark / light / navy ! :))

lets just say that this entire week was a damn physically and mentally drained week. got an upside down roster. pm am pm am pm am for the entire week. damn lack of sleep i swear. had a hard time draggging myself out of bed and overslept for a few days. like total madness.

okay, i just remembered that mummy told me not to swear vulgarities on first day of CNY.

just yesterday work was enough to make our body muscles ache.
total ward discharges 15 patients in a day.
and everybody was rushing us cause they wanted to be home in time for reunion dinner.

was trying damn damn hard to stay awake last night. kept nodding off and i cant go to bed. was fighting the sleep monster all the way.

the happiest part was, i received my first red packet yesterday night. HAPPY ^^

alright, off to get prepared and head off to visiting at my grandmother's house! LOVES !! :D

had Corps Cohesion at Swensons last week. turnout was good. spent a good total amount of $8**.** over there. nevertheless, i guess all enjoyed themselves ya? :D

almost K.O when singing halfway. damn tired and only like slept for 4 hrs that day. ahhh, now i cant wait to club next next wednesday :))

second night shift was even more tiring. had to send one patient down to ICU, many stuffs to follow up and the patients seems to be even more energetic at night. kept on talking and shouting non stop. then call bells ringing every 5 minutes, like so urghhh!

finally delivered to us at 4am in the morning.

just simply too nice for words. was already starving. stomach kept grumbling :((

YAY, one night shift down :)) like oh my god so happy can. tonight is the second night shift. yesterday night was like damn busy with all the patients being so ill and have to constantly check on them. think yesterday was an "auspicious" day uh. admitted 6 patients in the night and all of them came in for drug overdose / suicidal =.- 3 was accompanied by police. and the age range from 18 to 68 =.-

my back pain is killing me :((

ordered MAC in the night to munch on.
the food in the hospital is way too pathetic.
filet-o-fish + mac wings + mac nuggets + ice lemon tea + twister fries @ 3am :))
very fattening but oh who cares as long as my stomach is satisfied :D

need to go to back to bed again.
3hrs more for me to have a nap before work :((

yesterday head down to EastView for CCA Orientation 2010. response was rather okay, missed the performance though. could see that lots of efforts was put into planning the entire event. had talks about the plans for year 2010 and was only home at 11.30pm.

this entire week was damn fucked up. be it work or other stuffs. the entire day at work yesterday was played upside down by this @#^@^$^#$ doctor. damn him. it was his mistake in the first place and he pushed the entire blame to me, scolded me up down left right. like wtf can. argued with him so many times in a day till im totally speechless by his words and actions. fuck.

seriously, some doctors just think that by studying 5 years in medical school, they are of a superior rank to us. true, their knowledge may be so much better than us but their practical skills? lousy i tell you. not that im that great also but at least i know what is basic respect and teamwork. but them? they think they can do stuffs on their own and dont require others help. FINE BY ME. go and complain to sister if he wants, i know im right and thats it.

wasnt in a good mood. AT ALL. its only the begining of the year and everything's in a mess. must go and pray and clear away all the suayness.

this entire week seems to be so drama.
lots of things happened with a mixed feeling.

have been grumbling to others that i really dont like females doctors. dont know why but i prefer male doctors instead! and the rest also agreed! the way female doctors does things is like so ... i dont know how to describe. its like male doctors can pick up minor details but well, not trying to stereotype here.

went town yesterday for some shopping but i ended up not buying anything at all! how can? i need to do CNY shopping before i get tied up by work and i hate last minute rushing about. but but ... 9 more days!

i tried to explain it to you.
i hate to see you this way but well, i know you need time.

a sudden siansation when all these issues came up together. im really tired of hearing these and that. wads done is already done. we can only continue to work hard. thats all.

cause everything you do and say, you know it takes my breath away.

im like whining to everybody about my back pain :((
but seriously its really damn freaking painful.
please please please please let it heal faster can?
and i hate to take meds so dont ask me to do so.

its monday again and well, doesnt makes a different to me cos whether its weekend or weekday i'll still be working as usual.

14 more days to payday. i cant wait. 25th faster come. my sis still tempt me to go online shopping somemore! urghhh. i should just go hide my ibanking device somewhere that i cant find it.

and GOODLUCK to those taking their O levels results today :D

i is in pain now. cant really stand straight.
even lying down dont make me feel any better at all :((
thats why i dont really like to do night shifts. except for the fact that there's more $$. but they always like to roster me to do nights.

at the age of 20, im already having back pain.
cant imagine 10 years later, i think my back will cui.
need many many days to get rid of the back pain :((

very pathetic. today is the 8th, 17 more days to payday. left with only 40bucks to survive on. how nice eh. dumb, very dumb of me.

lets see,
intubate 1 patient on 1st night.
packed 1 patient on 2nd night.

tonight better be a peaceful one. all the screamings and nonsense last night was a tad too much. lasted all the way from 10pm till 7am in the morning. 9hrs of hearing them screaming and babberling nonsense is no joke.

and my back is in terrible pain please :(( couldnt really stand straight and all the patients are like twice, thrice my weight. the strain that my back gets when i position and shift them. the pain is so bad that i wanna cry :((

3rd night shift tonight. a good night please. im totally drained already. off to my dreamland for now.

i tried to find you but you are nowhere in sight.

YAY. first night shift down. couldnt get peace for the entire night. patients were all screaming their heads off and some thinks that its fun to press the call bells every 5mins. by 4am, the hungry + tired me had no more energy to entertain them. SIGH.

just before we were about to end work, got one collapse case, intubated the patient. tried to do everything fast fast; hand pain, leg pain, back pain :(( dragged myself out of the hospital and back home to sleeeeepppppp.

cant believe im broke at this time of the month. really overspent too much during december. now im only left with a pathetic 80bucks to spend for the next 20 days before payday comes. damn upset can :((

second night shift tonight. must must must be good okay.

just once. just wanna have that feeling back again.

off to bed to sleeeeeeeeeppp.

for the whole of last week, slept for less than 10hrs added up in total. totally deprived. those that i talked to will know why. practically dragging myself around in the ward, finding hard to concentrate on wadever im doing. urgghhh!

will be on night shift tonight, tmr and wednesday. how nice, will be totally deprived of sleep for this entire week again. shall see how im gonna survive this night shift tonight. please please please let it be good, no funny stuffs or wadsoever. *fingers crossed*

feels really empty right now. the past week had been good. always had a smile whenever i go, i'll always see it light up without fail. should go erase that thought out of my mind now.

shall go sleep now and wake up later for work. SIGHHHHH.

HAPPY 2010 EVERYONE :D

2009 has indeed been a year full of ups and downs for me. not really a smooth sailing year for me. its also a year that i shed the most tears i think. well, not forgetting the happy moments that i had too. everything's definitely memorable for me, be it good or bad. lessons learnt in yr 2008 but yet i made the same mistakes over and over again.

looking through my entire year 09 blog posts, brings back lots of memories.

to summarize Year 2009:

January
> ended my 3mths of PRCP.
> friendships got really strained with a few others.

> met someone, from friends to lovers and back to friends again.
> took up part time job @ korean restaurant.
March
> celebrated grandma's 87th bdae.
April
> started my work in CGH as a Staff Nurse.
May
> got my own Canon Camera.
> graduated from NYP with a diploma in Nursing. got into director's list too.
> took part in Spore Passion Run 10km marathon.
> send Sarmila back to Nepal
June
> H1N1 war in the hospital, mad busy.
August
> celebrated Nation's 44th bdae at Spore Flyer
September
> took part in Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 10km.
> got my new love, E71. still loving it.
October
>celebrated mooncake festival with the usual sjab ppl
> got H1N1 positive, 10days of MC and got quarrantined @ home.
> took part in Nike Human Race 10km.
November
> got into Spore Flyer for the very first time!
> attended Mr Ben Yeong & Ms Bel Quek Church Wedding.
December
> took part in my very first Standard Chartered Marathon 42.195km.
> went for ward chalet.

hit the BIG 2 this year. sheesh, feels so damn old please. this entire year will be full of 21st invites. already got a few inivites for 21st. 11 more mths for me to decide how i shld celebrate mine.

am thankful for those who stood by me when im in the darkest moments. when i needed shoulders to cry on, you know who you are. without the encouragements, the supports, i wouldnt have learn how to be strong. have been drinking in the last year to numb myself whenever things happens, no good i know. shall cut down on these rubbish this year, hopefuly.

Year 2010 will be a GOOD YEAR. i know it will :D

so nice and exciting. cant wait for the part 2 !!

Marina was so damn crowded, with all the people loitering around waiting to see the fireworks. speaking of fireworks, it was fantastic. the 8 mins of wowness and well, too fab to be put into words. me likes :D

headed home at 4am+, slept for an hr and head out to work. was stoning for the entire day at work. oh well, what to do? haha.

ward 48 post XMAS party on 30th dec.

all the sisters and "brothers" came down to makan. even the drs also enjoyed it :D happening day but im on afternoon shift. have to keep going in and out of the pantry to makan and back to ward to do my work.

the gifts exchange part was noisy! everyone was so excited to unwrap the gifts and just threw the wrapping papers on the floor. for a minute, the place looks like some rubbish dump la. got this adidas perfume set for the gift exchange :D
