OMG. so damn suay can. she stepped into the lift & everybody was like " die liao lar " cos all were is shorts & slippers & not wearing lanyards. as usual, when lift open, walked as fast as possible. but my 2 friends went & ran out of the lift. *slaps head* she looked out of the lift but then said " nvm, todae nurses day, special treatment "

*faints* should have stayed in the lift instead of rushing out & taking stairs. LOL.


had presentation by sub group 3 todae. & at the end of it, they gave of all us each a duckling cos this wil be the last time we all working tgt as the same sub group. gonna change when sem 2 starts.

finally im back to blogging. gonna be long & maybe boring ?? =P


down with HIGH FEVER, BAD SORE THROAT & COUGH on tuesday. hit 39.0 degree celsius. was so terrible. kept shivering the whole day plus it was raining the whole day lar. managed to drag myself back home & went to sleep straight away. wasnt any better when i woke up to eat dinner ( porridge ) =( & i still got to study BCLS cos wed is the theory exam.

had a hard time studying cos kept feeling hot & cold. then ate panadol & off i went back to dreamland again.


din went for lessons on wed but only for the exam at 4pm. lucky i clever, pass my admin card to my friend on tues cos i know that im going to fall sick liao. LOL.

BCLS theory was quite okay lar. 20 mins paper with 30 question. still can lar. but i made 1 or 2 stupid mistakes cos my brain wasnt functioning that well. i still had very bad headache & mild fever. =(

stayed till 7.30pm for project work. but cannot tahan liao, so went back early. still feeling quite sick lar. duh.


thursday was a lil better. had sexy voice lar. LOL. still feeling abit hot & cold. -.- went zy house after school to finish up project & then he send us back home at 11.40pm like that. wahahaha. =P


had elective presentation todae. was quite okay =)

just ended my afternoon shift 2 hours ago. ya & we gave the ward a card with our photos to thanks them for their help (: & we were given chocolates by the ENs. so sweet of them ya. LOL.

CI wasnt here todae. actually it doesnt make a difference if she is with us anot. cos she usually appear for a few minutes & then nobody noes where she goes after that. & the remarks thar she gave for us in that clinical guidebook was nonsense can. she gave EVERYONE almost the same remarks " be more PROACTIVE in learning & improve on ur dressing skills "

like wth lar. she's never here to assess us when we are doing like 3 dressings in a day. only pop in SOMETIMES to see & then disappear. damn it lar.

she gave us the feedback form ytd for us to evaluate on the ward & HER. so every one put in 3 or 4 for the ward staff & MOSTLY 1 or 2 for her. its not that we are bad to her but thats the truth lar. furthermore, she's a SENIOR CI.

overall, this attachment is OKAY except for the CI.

last week of attachment. & this week is like the busiest week. all of us were so damn busy in the morning, taking parameters, bathing & sponging paitients, doing dressing, serving breakfast, changing bedsheets, serve medications & the list goes on.

my shoes keep getting VERY wet almost everyday this week. cos the patients that i bathe all like to '' bathe '' me also. end up after bathing them, i myself became wet. thankfully im wearing apron. LOL.


there's this VERY VERY cute baby in the ward today. its the patient daughter. & its really cute lar. she imitates everything i do can. haha. *loves* lalala. I CANT WAIT FOR KKH ATTACHMENT !!


headaches for my presentations. i have not a single clue on how to continue them lar & ppl are helping by not contributing to it. *sighs*


well, ppl are selfish, they all want some good for themselves & its not wrong. but too much of selfishness is really too much. dont think that ppl are treating you very good means that you can bully them. furthermore, they are not just your friends, they are the cliques that you hang out with in school. you can even say since we haven started on the research for the stuffs, why SHOULD you start first?? please lar, there's no starting first or wadsoever can. mine you, its a GROUP project. & if you dun change your attitude, you are going to start losing friends...

LOL. todae is friday the 13th. haha.

bed 18 was discharged ytd & so todae the bed is vacant. but then this morning around 8 plus 9 like that, the call bell rang for bed 18. the other staff nurses was like calling out, " eh , students, bed 18 calling lar " . i was like, what the... cos supposedly there's no one at bed 18.

so i went to bed 18 & off the call bell. & i asked the EN and my friend there did they press the call bell. & they were like, " we so free go press the call bell ar. cant you see we just brought patient back from the toilet. " LOL.

then my team staff nurse said, " ah.. todae is friday the 13th, be careful ar, they like to play on this day. " diaoz...


LOL. todae was quite okay. & 10 days of attachment is over le. left with 5 more days & its back to school with the hectic schedule lar.

YES !! 1 week of attachment is OVER. =P LOL.

afternoon shift is about the same as morning shift. almost NOTHING TO DO. we can finish all the things that is to be done in 1 hour & then for the rest of the day, walked around, occasionally attend to call bells.

maybe its because this time round is a B2 ward. not as hectic & many beds as C class ward.


i noe some names are pretty common, but i dun expect them to be so COMMON in this ward. there are like 4 ppl in this ward by the name of '' daniel '' . LOL. 1 of them is the PRCP student & the rest are patient. like duh lar. makes it so confusing. LOL. not that i mine.


& brother ( cos he a male nurse manager ) let us off work 5 minutes earlier. hahaha. he's like: " student student, you all can go home already. sign out as 9PM. heh heh =P


im so hungry now. i only ate a popiah during the first break & ate nothing during the second break. cos brother was in the tea room & when we went in for our second break, he started to talk to us about nursing career & that stuffs. & that took like 1 hour when our break is supposed to be 30 mins. LOL.

so can only munch on bread now as im VERY TIRED & LAZY to cook instant noodles le. =(

& there's a case study to be presented on NEXT MONDAY. oh my tian. how am i going to finished it when my sat & sun are occupied ?

after the case study, there's another presentation for other stuffs too. -.-


PRCP students are those year 3 who are having 6 weeks straight of attachment & then after that, they will pass out as STAFF NURSES. thanks to THOSE from the previous batch who feedback that PRCP should be longer. we now have 12 WEEKS ( 3 months ) straight of attachment in year 3 before we pass out. thats it. from my batch onwards.

FIRST day of attachment. & my clinical instructor is naggy lar. can nag at things that are not important for like 1 hour with us standing up when there are like tea room for you to sit down & talk.

todae is quite slack cos there is only ONE shift for the day. & there are like 15 of us in one SHIFT. so basically things get done pretty fast with the number of students plus staff nurses & enrolled nurses. LOL.

tmr is gonna be different. cos there are TWO shifts tmr. & the number of students is halfed. LOL. meaning MAYBE cannot slack. hahaha.


but still, im tired &

its 26th SNCO POP at greenview sec ytd. went down for some talks & viewing of the parade.

CONGRATS to the 11 deltas who passed & promoted to SERGEANT. GOOD JOB guys. =DD


ate dinner there & after everything went to loyang point MAC for some talks & then back home le.


3 weeks of attachment starts tmr. SIAN. lets hope that it'll be a less tiring attachment for us. its B2 ward, so hopefully the patients there will be a little easier to take care of.

HAH !! let see, school started on this monday. & i FLUNK my bio practical. &#^$#&%$^ NVM. i shall work harder for semestral exam. =)

started our BCLS module on tuesday. so many years of doing CPR still cant compared to doing so many at one go. 1 man to 2 man to conscious choking - unconscious ( adult ) to infant CPR to conscious choking to unconscious ( infant ). wa piang. really out of breath by the time finish all 5 at one go for the BCLS practical exam. LOL.

i SERIOUSLY HATE 9am lessons. always cant wake up on time wan lar. LOL. we are super pro on tuesday lar. lessons start at 9am but we went in at 9.30am cos we are waiting for each other at control station & all are late. hahaha. its bio tutorial & the lecturer is KIND. he marked us present but we've got to ans qns which is quite easy. =P

went to vivo with EVE on tues cos i want to get my sis bdae present & i got her to pei me =) haha. bought the bag & also a pair of covered shoes. think she spent the most. wahaha. =D

ytd was my dearest youngest sis birthday =)) haha. got her a bag which is shared by me & 2 younger sis. LOL. thanks to EVE who went with me to shop for it. hahaha. =D

went to ktv with zhu. haha. $8 for 5hrs of singing from 2pm to 7pm lar. LOL. its so fun. seems like ages that i went singing liao. haha. by around 6.30pm like that, we already ran out of songs to sing so we left the place early. LOL.

14th June, thurs

went for haircut with jovin they all at tony & guy hair academy at bugis. its free cos we got complimentary tickets from our friends. spent 3hrs just to cut our hair. cannot blame them for taking so long cos its the students who cut our hair & the professional hair stylists assist them only. got this guy who look almost like him cut my hair. waahhaha. =D

then went shopping at bugis & bought some stuffs & then back home.

met up wtih my project mates at sch library at 10AM IN THE MORNING. omg. its so early can. had group discussion. we are going to do role play again. search for some more materials then back home liao.

16th June, sat

met up with angeline at sch coffee shop at 6.45am. the sec 1 kids reached around 7.30 - 8 am. brought them down to greenview sec for some games that the snco ppl had planned for them. got to see them do triage. but too bad that social nite was cancelled lar.

17th June, sun

went to my ah ma hse for lunch. my aunty suddenly asked me : " ger, u looked like you gained alot of weight liao " . i was like HUH !!!!! im still 43kg. the number hasn't changed since the start of the year can. but she still insist that i gained alot of weight. oh well, maybe i shld eat less already ?? MAYBE ONLY LAR. =P

renovation of the floor is already done le. so now is all the cleaning up & moving of stuffs around. the hse is seriously very very very dusty. its tiring to clean up everything lar. =(

& school is gonna start like next MONDAY already. im still NOT DONE with alot of stuffs can.

had biology practical exam this morning. 60 MCQ questions. if i can get 30 questions correct, i will be damn happie liao. cos the paper is VERY HARD leh.

then was the clinical skill assessment in the evening at 6pm. waited for my turn till around 7pm. & i got the strict and naggy lecturer lar. so suay can. skill assessment usually took 30 mins or maximum 40 mins to complete. guess how long i took??


ONE FREAKING HOUR.


why? cos the lecturer was superly naggy. a small mistake i did & she can nag for about 10 mins. i was already feeling so STRESSED UP & SCARED liao & yet she keep on nagging / scolding without letting me do in peace. & before my turn, she had already fail 4 students leh.

& i din noe that one hour pass so fast. my hand was shaking when i was holding on to the needle lar.

when it ended, she said somthing like '' im still thinking whether to fail you a not for your injection part '' .

i was already so pissed off with her liao so i simply hack care wad she said & went to pack my things.

heh heh. the show was great. though i was sort of confused at the begining of the show. haha. i cant even rmb what exactly happened in the pirates of caribbean 2 . LOL. =X the show was 3 hrs plus leh. oh, there's a trailer after the credits, rmb to stay & watch =DD

& the movie ended at around 10pm.

i forgot ytd was the eve of public holiday. my $9.50 flew away ....

heh heh. clinical theory exam wasnt so bad afterall. i find it quite okay, hope can get good marks for it =)


oh ya, forgot to mention that my class was caught by the $50 lecturer on monday. when ppl see her, confirm will run away cos u'll be wearing slippers and shorts & thats sort of " not allowed " in SHS. LOL. so we got caught by her and we ran into the classroom. who noes she found our classroom. & i was the 2nd person to be caught for wearing shorts & slippers. LOL. got this form & was supposed to fill up & return to her.

HAHA. i CRUMPLED the paper & threw away liao. LOL. im not the only one who got caught, still got 5 other ppl lor. haha. but who cares ?? its not the first time.=P


i think im fated to see HER every wednesday liao. so damn SUAY lar.

YAHH. the annual GREAT SINGAPORE SALE is here le. whee !!!! can go shopping liao. haha. but only after week 8 cos i still got bio practical exam, clinical practical exam & psychology presentation to go.

was so terrified when i woke up this morning cos of the BAD DREAM that i had last night. its super scary that i can cry lar. =(

im damn sad now lar. why must she backstab us? though we all are not on good terms with you, but must you do this do us? what good will it do to you? gain more friends? nah. when the truth is out, you will lost more friends. super stress out in school todae due to the misunderstandings caused by HER. can see the tension that both sides are having. nvm. we'll talk things out tmr & we shall know who's the LIAR.


there's clinical theory paper tmr. though i read through it like twice le. but i still cant really rmb all the stuffs lar. mugging & mugging....

wow!! this week is so BUSY for me. those projects meetings, presentations & oncoming exams. arghh...


at least 2 projects are over le. left with 3 MORE projects LAR!!


something which is making everybody pissed off the whole week. well, we are SERIOUSLY NOT HAPPY with you. pls, putting ur hp to slient is a MUST during tutorials & presentation. but u din. not once, but twice it happened & its during our presentation. it leaves a bad impression of us on the lecturer can. & so what you are more expierenced than us? does it give you the right to scold us or throw tantrums when things are not going ur way? its a GROUP project. not ur individual project. & you made us have to redo the ENTIRE SCRIPT of 8 pages just because you cried & say those *_________* & dont go acting as if you are so CLOSE to those lecturer. it wun do you any good.

had this seminar given by the SAF on wed. told us wad was BMT, IPPT , how field camp was like, the officers course & how '' tough '' it is. LOL. enjoyed the sessions. hahaa. & there's like quite a no. of cute guys there. wahahaha. OPPS. =P


& i was damn SUAY on thursday. i saw THAT PERSON lar. thank gooodness she din see, i dun want to have eye contact with her can. BLEAHX.


friday was the presentation for the paediatrics modules. happie to say that the lecturer was satisfied with our performance & our content for it. its not easy to have 12 ppl in a group doing a project lor.

& school ended at 12pm. total yayness. went to gym again. haha. it feels great to run lar. =D after that went to play majong at kt house. & i think my luck is no good that day, i lost like $3 can. & that couple keep winning money. LOL. it doesnt seems alot but after all, its still $3 lar. haha. ovenight majonging after exams =))

had re-AFA exam on saturday. went down to hq early with mdm xu to see someone. was one of the examiner for the CPR slot. theory exam & bandaging was easy lar. =P went to eat long john after that & rush home liao. bathe & went to shena's house. its her 18th birthday. =))

reached there, the whole charlie ( minus yq & ken ) were there playing X - box & cards lor. so sat down & played too. haha. =)) then sing song, cut cake , eat , played games. oh ya. they drank alcohol too. & were like abit drunk after that lor. hahaha. =P then we left her house to go safra play pool. din feel like playing so just sat down to watch them play lor. left at 11. 30 pm & reach home at 12am.

clinical theory exam next wed. RARR. maybe later going to study abit ba. dun really understand those stuffs about injection, blood transfusion, chest tubes & blah....


its been like 2 years le, that feeling was like...ytd you said sorrie, i was like ... u noe i nv blame you for what happened. we are still good friends. =))

its 12am plus le and im still stuck with the powerpoint slides for tmr's presentation. there's still EDITING & ANIMATION to be done. & we haven even practiced yet.

WELL DONE.

so gonna skipped bio lectures tmr so that we will have 2 hours of break for us to prepare everything. & im going to be the one to start the whole presentation. WISH ME LUCK ya. =)

after tmr's presentation. there's still another presentation on friday LAR. which we haven finish writing the script for it, & the content is like only 20 % done. left with three two more days to friday.

got to rush like mad again.


NO SLEEP FOR TONITE! =(

hur. its been a week plus since i do proper blogging le. im just so busy everyday, with projects and stuffs. by the time i reach home im already dead tired liao.

went to see doc on thursday cos morning woke up with a swollen & painful eyes. & know wad, I got an eye infection. doc says i rub my eyes with my dirty hands, that’s why I got infection. =(( so now must put eye drops & apply cream lor. =(( *sobsob*

my infected LEFT eyes. SIGH. it looks so ugly man. =(

its difficult to blog with only 1 eye, so i’ll just post pictures from last week =))

ahh… went to that seafood restaurant again last monday after school. which is like 8 plus liao. haha. =D

so hungry that we finish all the food =P

tuesday was labour day. PUBLIC HOLIDAY. & i stayed at home to do project.

majong – ing after school on wednesday. haha. so fun lar. at first din win , then i won all the middle rounds, but in the end i still lose some money lar. LOL.

NYP was organizing the blood donation drive. & I went to donate blood.

HAHA. bluff wan lar. my friends went to donate but i nv donate lor. even if i want, they will still reject me wan lor. cos my weight is under 45kg. & i dun think it will go above that figure. keke. =P

heh heh. project work at zy house on friday. =)) we really did project okays. HAHA.

i found this cute little thing at his hse. =)

we just love being STUPID =P

& we went cycling at pulua ubin on sunday =DD met them at 9am at bedok interchange. then took bus 2 to change village. had breakfast there. =)

nice food. but the serving was abit small lar. LOL.

then ta bao chicjen rice & off we go to take ferry liao. paid $2 for the ride. & we went to rent bike there. Initially $6 de, but we bargain & the price went to $4 =D


saw this wild boar that someone kept.


& this cute little puppy outside the toilet. it was shivering so we covered it with tissue paper. LOL.



well, we all took small routes so all the rides were VERY bumpy. My butts hurts a lot lar. LOL. =P & there were a lot of mosquitoes, not even applying repellent helped. i have no idea why those mosquitoes were attracted to me instead of my friends, maybe cos my blood is SWEET ba. hahaha. =D

oh. & we went past this beach that was infested with dragonflies lar. & I really mean infested. cos they were all flying around in big groups can. no choice still got to cycle past. this is really stupid. i fell down cos the big group of dragonflies attacked me lar. =(( *crys*

cycled till 6 plus. were damn tired liao can.

then went to tampines cos zy needs to get his car then we went to eat our dinner. Initially wanted to eat at geylang de. But after driving at some times, we still cant find parking lots, so went to old airport road to eat instead. =)

ahh… the food there is really yummy can. shared 2 plates of chao kway tiao, 1 plate of carrot cake, 1 plate of fried oyster and individual ate sliced fish noodles. wanted to order fried rice also. but then decide to go geylang to eat durians, so din eat in the end.



went geylang to eat durains. Shared 3 durains btw 4 persons lar. =)) & geylang have a lot of those blangah at night lar. bus by bus they alight at geylang. & then got ladies start to approach them liao lor. scary when we walk past them, luckily got 1 guy with us. LOL.

was very tired on monday lor. feel so like sleeping can. & I had 6 hrs break from 12pm to 6pm lar. & I did projects for 6 freaking projects.

SIAN. headache with those ppt slides lar. =((



& I got SURBURNT !!!!

now its still abit pain & the skin is peeling off liao. YUCKS.

Oh yes, & I went to gym on Wednesday & friday at chua chu kang. heh heh. exercise for 3 hrs straight sia. =)) jogged on that machine for 1 hr. & did some other exercise too. Felt so refreshing lar. =DD

Lazy to blog more liao. shall blog when im not that sleepy. LOL.

going to rest my eyes liao. =D
