been quite a pleasant time working there with the staffs & friends. wun mention those unpleasant stuffs yeah (: learnt quite alot of new stuffs from this attachment. overall good comment recieved from the clinical instructor =D


doubt will even be sleeping tonight. haha.

handed up the pay form for attachment. gonna get my $130 after CNY =D


so freaking pissed with some ppl in the ward. RARR. they just dun want to use their brains to think. im always smiling to strangers, even though sometimes they get on my nerves, i still got to smile nicely at them & tolerate it.


CNY is coming in like 3 more days? & i still haven packed all the messy & untidy stuffs on my study table. maybe i'll just stack everything up & put all onto the shelf. cfm lots of nagging when mum sees it. wadever lar. i've got no time.


exams are in like 10 more day. 10 MORE DAYS you know. thats like a week plus for me to study. & there's like BIO, Behavioural Science (3 modules combine to 1 paper ), Medical/Surgical Paper, Mental Health Paper. all are freakingly CONTENT HEAVY. like WTH can.

was feeling so restless & tired in the morning. did work with so little energy, like cant concentrate.

been sayng lots of vulgarities this few weeks. maybe its due to stress? haha. got scoldings from quite many cos too much are coming out from me. OPPS. haha.


& my lower back is damn pain :(

wad an unlucky day it is.

1) 9 discharges from the team when im on afternoon shift. resulting in 9 continuous admissions which is damn hectic lar. 1 after another =_=

2) i din noe i cut my finger, until i used alcohol rub to clean my hand, & the stinging/painful sensation is enough to make my hand turn numb :(

3) accidentally bump into the bed & resulted in a big blue-black on my right kneecap :(

4) a patient held my arm way too tight when i was shifting him in the bed & ends up i have lots of red scratches on my arm. & its still visible now :(

5) had a sudden cramp in my feet during work that made me limp for 1 hr plus :(


dunnoe wad came into me todae. HAIZ.


haven complete the case study, maybe i shld go sleep now, cos im damn tired + my lower back is damn pain :(

had comp trg in the morning. overslept but still managed to reach on time =D ended at 1 plus, lunch + crapping sessions at coffee shop. walked to 201 to take bus 9 home. & reached home at arnd 4 plus.


slept till 9pm, woke up to sing bdae song for SIS, ate cake, gave presents & its back to bed again. LOL. slept all the way till todae 12.30pm. wahaha. very long nv had such long hrs of sleep already =P was supposed to go online ytd evening to discuss smth, but then both of us slept through lar =_=


very fustrated.

1 week of attachment is OVER. 8 more days to go.


did a very deep dressing today. the diabetic wound was on the front part of the foot, about half the size of the foot + the sole & it was at least 3-4cm deep with lots of blood. when i removed the old dressing, there was at least 8 layes of thick gauze, all soaked with blood & was dripping. had a hard time removing as the gauze sticks to the wound. & the CI keep asking if im alright, she's afraid that i might faint cos there's too much blood. but im OKAY =)

the cleaning part was quite tedious as its very bloody. covered it with lots of gauze & used 2 bandages with the help of the CI.


& straight after that it was break time =_=


learnt how to do bladder scan todae (: managed to complete 1/4 of the case study too !!


many ppl says they gain/lose weight during attachment, but it doesnt apply to me. wahahha =P

i LOVE weekends =D

was super tired this morning. almost couldnt wake up on time =_=


did 2 dressings, given injections, serve medications, & do those junior work like parameter, changing bed sheets...) even with the PRCP students, its still very very busy, wonder how we are going to cope when they end their PRCP like next week.


haven get started on my case study YET. chose the case already, but there's no time for me to copy all the information down :(


i hate it when we have attachments before semestral exams. how can we study when we are so freaking tired already. its like during the CNY period that we can get to study =_=


well well, at least i have wonderful friends that make posting so fun, doing those silly stuffs that only we ourselves know =D

never - ending stufffs to do from the moment i start my shift =_= 1 admissions after another. the ward is forever busy, not easy to find time for breaks also.

first day of attachment was not too bad. was posted to ward 44 like again. when i walked pass the last office door, memories of my grandfather came back again.

there's NYP PRCP students, NP students & of cos us. which made the entire ward looks very crowded when all 18 of us is there.

been very busy the entire day. Taking parameters, serving meds, giving injections, chit-chatting with patients, serving diets, changing diapers, doing admissions & blah blah ...

overall, tired & very pek chek.

& i've got LEFT EYE INFECTION.

last week i think, its my right eye that is swollen, now its the left. like wth. went to see doctor & he said is infection. & that i strained my eye too much. now i've got eye drop & eye cream to apply. must be this week i chionged project work & everyday sleep at 4am =(

& now its red, swollen & painful :(

flu & sore throat with headache too.


next monday will be the start of 3 weeks hospital attachment at CGH.

i practically rushed through the whole of this morning & afternoon just for the Research Methods Presentation. thats wad happen when ur grp mates dun bother about it at all, which makes me damn freaking pissed at them.

anyway, the lecturer said that we can pass the presentation but i dunnoe how good it will be.


WADEVER. its all over already =) finally, i chiong-ed finished all the projects & presentation. can at least relax abit. past few weeks had been really very very hectic for me, always sleeping at 4 in the morning.


went for zone meeting just now. this time round is quite long, till 11pm i think. then william send us all home.


was supposed to type out my meeting minutes. but after numerous trys to get connected to the wireless, i gave up doing. cos it simply just keep getting disconnected on me & i have to wait for like ages to get it connected back again.


heard about some stuffs. i dunnoe the actual story but i was quite shock when i heard wad happened. guess some things you just cant look on the surface only.


i should be in bed by now, replenishing my beauty sleep & sch starts at 12pm tmr. or shld i not go school? =_=

NYP Open House Ytd was BUSY BUSY & BUSY. had so many students coming to the simulation lab, the crowd just wun stop, flowing like water. had to keep repeating those stuffs from like 11am to 6pm. very tiring :(


after that rushed down to EV for CCA Orientation. din really do much things there cos i reached like 7 plus already. but can see that its a sucess =D

went for dinner at TM foodcourt, talked & reached home already 10.30pm. bathed & watch tv. din want to touch project stuffs, simpy too tired of it already.

HAPPY 2008 TO ALL (:

ytd was a FUN FUN DAY (: met up with friends at marina square at 4pm. shopped arnd then went LJS for some snacks. shopped arnd again then went to suntec to play arcade. wanted to catch those cute lil bears in the machine but then no luck :( saw a guy caught 3 for his gf =.=

waited for some others to join us then went to dine in at PizzaHut (: was already quite full from LJS so din eat that much. LOL. ate 2 slices of pizza & 3 drumlets + 1 bowl of soup =D laughed like nobody's business there. haha =P bill = $90 ++ =.=

walked back to MS cos some wanted to eat Swensens ice-cream =.= but the queue was so damn long. brought Ben & Jerry ice-cream from 7-11 instead (:

went out to the steps outside MS which was already packed with LOTS of ppl =.= was deciding where to go & settled that we go esplanade there to see how's the crowd. damn lots of ppl man. walked back to MS. sat down at the table of 1 of the restaurant. ate mostly desserts & the bill was $70++ =.=

slacked there for 1 hr plus & then it was COUNTDOWN. the crowd was amazing. but the best part was the FIREWORKS. 9 mins + of FIREWORKS. damn nice =D

everything ended & was squeezing in the crowd when i saw alvin. haha. he just ended work & came out to watch the fireworks =.= LOL. haha. first to wish each other happy new year. wahahah =P

was deciding to go clubbing, so drove to Boat Quay there, but it was way too packed & the entrance fees is super expensive, so decided to go catch prawns =.= LOL. reached there arnd 2 plus am. in the end only catch 1 prawn. haha. then put the prawn back into the pond. they wanted to make me drunk, but i din =D haha. left the place at arnd 4 plus 5am. cabbed home with friends. i HATE the taxi fares. increase by per 20cents. end up fares so ex.

time past so fast, in a blink of eyes, its 31st DECEMBER 2007 already.


this year had been rather bad & tiring for me. lots of things happened this year, not forgetting some happy ones too (:


grandfather left us on jan this year. can still rmb the date very clearly, 12th Jan. i LOVE him. i always do (:


we broke up during that period of the time too. & thats the toughest period for me to go through. death, breakup, attachments, exams. i couldnt handle everything & i broke down. i nv really studied for the exams, thankfully i passed SEM exams. & thanks to my DEAR FRIENDS who were there for me. *LOVES* (:


got into YEAR 2. & the damn workload got so much heavier. MORE presentations you know. & group mates were changed during SEM 2 , which got me damn freaking angry.

stayed up till like 5am to complete ppt, minimum sleep, then off to school for presentation at 9am was a routine.


had attachment at KKH which was a new experience for me. & i LOVE kids so much that i had not much problems during the paediatrics attachment =D


&& i TURNED 18 this year. LEGAL AGE. yahh, i noe, its only a few days ago, to be exact, 4 days ago. LOL. =P wonderful BDAE & i LOVE it =D

met up with my classmates at lavader control station at 12 plus, was a lil late but it was okay =) and the whole lot of them actually wanted to sing me bdae song rite in the middle of the station =.= then walked to the old folks centre & chit chat with them to get to know them better.

bused to Pasir Ris Park, the horse riding place. LOL. played some games first then all of us took turns to ride the horse. OMG. first time on the horse, abit scared but it was FUN (:

then ate some snacks. suddenly all of them sang me a BDAE song, rite in the middle of the horse riding centre, tgt with the old folks too. even the tourists & ppl arnd us also joined in. *blushing* wahaha =P so sweet of them lar, & they sang in 3 languages, ''english'', ''chinese'', ''malay''. ohh, *LOVES* (:


then bused back to the centre & we trained to bugis. think there's some accident at bugis station. cos we were stuck on the train for 25 mins when its supposed to be only 2/3 mins ride to bugis. LOL. created havoc in the train as usual, & they decided to sing BDAE song again. like so LOL lar. but obviously i stopped them lar. haha =P


then shopped arnd bugis. went Seoul Garden to eat, their treat =D ate till very full & i suggested to leave the place. then out of sudden, the whole crew from Seoul Garden carried a BDAE cake & singing BDAE song walked towards me lar. damn. i was super shocked & lost for words, & the everybody in the Seoul Garden joined in the singing also. *blushing again* haha =P

nice surprise from them. LOL (: ate the cake & left the place. walked arnd then to bugis village cos they wanted to do manicure. like so LOL again. who do manicure like at 10.30pm in the night. LOL =P then waited for them to finish the manicure, slacked arnd the bugis area & back home at 12 midnight. =D

great day out with ZHU ytd (: haha. went shopping at Orchard & Marina Square. spent like over $90 =.= & our hands are like so red & painful from carrying all the shopping bags. bought like quite a few stuffs, dress, 3 tops, xmas gifts && i've finally got my ears pierced, thanks ZHU for the early bdae gift =D

the crowd was really terrible. so many ppl everywhere we walked =.=


went back school for project meeting todae. wasnt really that efficient cos some were late & 1 only sms me & told me like 10 mins before the meeting time that she's not coming. like what the...

alright, had project meeting at 12pm in sch library todae. & expected, some WERE LATE. like what the.. even 12pm also can late. nvm, at least we completed abnormal psychology & now left with research methods which we were stuck with. cos simply no idea how to start it.


ytd met up with huimei to discuss about competiton. spent like 3 hrs in MAC & listening to the repeated xmas songs. haha. then went shopping. YEAH !! my xmas shopping is done (: left with the wrapping of it =P

the past makes up one's experience

FINALLY,

HELLO TO THE HOLIDAYS =D

have been sleeping at 5am in the morning for 3 consecutive days & waking up at 7am for school =( totally tired out.

had presentation in the early morning. was rather okay. though abit monotonous, cos i think no mood to present ba. but overall was commented by the lecturer as pretty well done (: effort & hardwork paid off. being the leader for this sub group is really tiring me out.


spent 2 hours in the library to revise through the BIO. the practical exam was rather okay, though few careless mistakes were made cos din really revise enough. results will be out next tuesday (: our FINAL practical exam cos there's NO MORE BIO in year 3 *grins*


now im starting to feel the holiday mood. wahahah =P but there'll still be project meeting next monday & tuesday, got to start already cos it'll be due when sch reopens.

left with 2 more ICA to go.

just collected my new specs. think i still look weird wearing it. & i hate the start of wearing new specs, cos i will have headaches, like now :(


had research methods e-assessment this morning. got a D for my section (A) and A for my section (B), but end results is D =.= shld have at least got a C can. but nvm, since not much info went into my head. haha.

now im super super worried for my presentations & bio practical exam on friday. i've got like no time to study for bio cos all the time is spent on the editing of ppt slides. thanks to my members. its still nowhere near the finishing part, got to stay up tonight to finish it so i can at least study tmr. RARR.

understood the digestive parts but not the BRAIN & the SPINAL CORD can. it doesnt ring a bell to me, maybe for a few sections only. so it means mugging throughout the night for tmr too. sighs.


guess i was thinking too much just now that i accidentally scalded my hands with hot water =.= damn pain can. so now there's like a big red patch on my right hand :(


have been coughing for these 2 days, & i still went to eat KFC todae. LOL. & the voice sounds so =.=

school's a mess todae. everything messed up. projects & group stuffs. & i totally ignored -- during meeting. -- can do wad she/he liked, i dont care. still can ask me go home & edit the slides when there's like an exam tmr? so only -- needs to study for the exam & i dont? RARR !!


research methods exam tmr morning, 9.45am. & like i say, till NOW im only halfway through it. guess it will be no sleep tonight. im determined to read it through & understand everything !!

i actually went for the 11am lecture todae. cos i skipped it for like 3 weeks already. haha. not many ppl turned up for it too, maybe cos rainy day, wanna sleep longer ba. LOL. =P

& i did projects for like 3 hrs straight =.= OMG. was so sian already lar. & they added the numbers of slides to 52 can? like what the... & im super lazy to go & edit. wait till tmr then let them edit since they are the ones who insisted on putting in so many extras slides.

super pissed off with -- . if you are so great why not you do the whole project all by urself, please lar, where is the teamwork?


im starting christmas shopping for presents already. haha. so gonna be broke after all the shopping. LOL.

im very very very sure that i can finish up the powerpoint slides by today, though i know confirm there will be lots of editing to do tmr =.=

only halfway through studying the research methods and 1/4 through for the biology practical exam. damn scared for the bio pract can. cos this time round its 90 questions for 80mins. in the past its only 60 questions but they increased it to 90 =.= why make life so difficult for us?

& its like a year has passed since that faithful day. well, i dunnoe why, i just got this strange and funny feeling inside me. i dun bother much already. let it be this way then.


school's pretty okay i guess, except for the projects part. i know i have been complaining alot but i just got to say it all out. whats with me doing all those work & they only presenting it without helping? just only know how to ask me to work on the ppt faster so that they can view it, with no information from them, how am i supposed to do it? when i let them view the ppt, they picked here and there. ohh. if you all are so clever, why not you all go do it, why me? dun wanna pitched in, fine with me, dun complain when results are out.


arghh. been having stomachache the whole day. spoils my mood man =( & im still sneezing away can. =(


& the attachment schedule for next year is out. & i've got freaking afternoon shift on the reunion night. & it ends at 9pm, how to have reunion dinner? damn. i'll find someone to change shift with me, hopefully they'll change.

was on the train towards YCK in the morning. as usual i was sleeping on the train. i woke up, very blur & actually alighted the train cos i thought it was YCK already. when i walked out of the train, i realised it was AMK station instead. OMG. super paiseh can. so i just waited for the next train. LOL. dunnoe wad happened to me todae. hahah =P

memories are coming back again

went down for Wang Lee Hom concert duty ytd. the crowd & everything was okay. song was pretty nice (: duty ended at 10 plus & we went geylang to have our supper. cabbed home at 12 plus.


ended up i did my powerpoint slides after i came home cos cant sleep after supper. LOL. slept at 4 plus in the morning & i just skipped this morning lectures & only went to sch for the 3pm lecture =D


i think BIO is just getting more & more complicated for me to understand them. the nerves & reflexes & blah blah blah. & practical exam is just next friday =.=


begining to dislike my sub group. duh. i hate it when they keep asking ''how, how, how'' & no actions from them. like duh.

went to celebrate kaiting's bdae ytd. played acrade for 2 hrs plus then decided to go for dinner. went to eat 重庆麻辣火锅 at bugis. & this is the longest time i waited for my food. from 6 to 8 plus. OMG can. by that time everybody was very pek chek already. & we thought the food was going to be very nice but it was so-so only lor. rated 4/10. confirmed im not going there to eat again. RARR.


finished eating at 10pm. then went to National Library Open Space to cut cake (: im the only one there who haven turned 18. slacked there till 11.35pm like that. then trained back home. reached home around 12 plus.


gonna start on my ppt slides already. left with 1 week plus to do it. im so pissed off with somebody. RARR.
