will be heading down to Spore Flyer tomorrow to collect my race pack for Nike Human Race 10km, which is like next saturday!! oh man, due to me falling sick, i haven been training at all !! :(( this is no good no good. from what i saw from the website, part of the route seems to be the same as Standard Chartered Marathon.

having lots of different cravings for food these days. machiam like im pregnant like that. LOL. good thing is i cant go out of the house to buy them, if not, there goes a big hole in my wallet again =X

my itchy fingers went to press press press and there goes my money, brought stuffs online like again!!!! oh man, no good to stay at home all day also. payday please come faster =X

whats done cant be undone. even if you tried to undo it, it still wont be back to the original state. just like you cant put pieces of broken mirror back to the same like how it should be. if right now, we both were to see each other, how will we react then?

just finished watching episode 2 of 下一站,幸福 also known as Autumn's Concerto. nice show and its sweetttttt. cant wait for episode 3 to be out next week. by then dont know whether i'll have time to watch cos i'll be back to work alreadyyy.

last dose of tamiflu. like finally, the meds is so damn bitter i dont like :(( i think tamiflu got this side effects of having headache after taking it. always having headache after taking the meds, but its better now :))

completed stuffs that is like due long long ago. finally no more overdued work :))

i just ate the sweet oreo cheescake cake daddy brought back from hotel. NICE :D

day 6 at home. so many people are jealous that i got 7 days of MC to just eat sleep eat sleep at home and dont have to slog hard at work. come to think of it, its just like a common flu and i get 7 days to slack at home. pretty used to my routine now, sleep early wake up late eat nap eat watch tv and sleep again.

oh ya, not forgetting the horrible meds that i have to take. cos i cant swallow pills down and i have to crush those pills and drink it down. damn damn horrible taste. i totally can understand how those ah ma feel when we keep forcing them to drink down the meds, the taste is yucks and double yucks :((

yeah yeah, im recovering well. except for the fact that my voice is still terrible. those that talked on the phone with me will know why. its totally cannot make it :(( im still coughing though, like what joyce says, some symptoms doesnt resolve even if the virus is gone :((

i miss all those delicious foods :((

Trying to be positive

day 4 of staying at home. sigh. the medications are making me very very drowsy. feel like sleeping all the day long. tried to get some work done but ended up watching online shows/movies instead =X cant really think much so just stare at the screen instead =X

i can only stay in my room, going out only when i need the toilet or to eat. sigh. so sad.

they always say people who are unwell have poor appetite. i wonder why im the opposite. i've got lots of cravings lah. i wanna eat durians, chocolates & all the delicious foods at bedok 85!!! but but i cant :((

i wanna get well soon. like very very soon pleaseeeeee.
my throat still hurts alot.
my voice is still like =.= SIGH!!

Gone with the Wind

roamed around Orchard last wednesday. didnt really buy anything but spent lots on food =X just love the company of my girls plus the gossips and updates :))



carried lanterns with mooncakes eating on saturday :)) like small kids carrying lanterns walking around the parks. LOL. reminds me of the times i went over to my uncle's hse to carry lanterns with all my cousins. head over to EHUB KBOX and sang till 3am. doze off for arnd 30mins there as im already having slight fever :((

and so im down with fever for 3 days already, plus sore throat and cough. yesterday ward called and asked me to go A&E see doc plus do throat swab. so went and back with meds that i already have.

so A&E called today, and my throat swab is +ve. so MC for 7days, home quarantine. dont even know where i got the virus from. damn damn sad can :(( supposedly im doing night shift tonight, ahhh, my extra allowance is gone :((

i've got so many things to update but well, next post then.

spiked a temperature of 39.3 yesterday. but still i went to work with body-ache and sore throat and cough. popped 2 panadols at work and fever went down. but my voice is gone already :(( supposedly im on am shift today but they changed to pm to let me rest longer.

but i just took my temp, its 39.2 :(( with all the symptoms still present. shall pop 2 panadols again before i go work later.

pray very very hard that im going to be alright.

ward night staff called me at 4am this morning ( x 3times) asking me to change to am shift cos there's 1 person taking MC. already so tired and if i change to am shift, i'll have to wake up 1 hr later. nono. so i stick to my pm shift instead =x

busy busy pm shift ytd. had to intubate one patient and sent down to MICU. sigh. saw evelyn and sheena over there, and they had to shout my name so loud that all the staffs gave me a question mark look =x

i wonder when's my next off day. roster is not out yet. sighhhhh!! :((

next week i shall go suntanningggggg!!!

so irritated by hotmail. now i cant logged in to check my mails, arghh angry.

still feeling very sleepy and tired. plus the weather is making me feel so lethargic too. thinking of taking MC and just sleep at home, but i think my ward sister will call and nagged at me =X

shld throw away my ibanking device. payday just came in and im happily spending it on online shopping =X

my off day tomorrow and i have to go back to hospital for "Test Your Limit". something like Napha with 5 stations. need 100% attendance. waste my afternoon :(( but me not going to run the 10 rounds around the fish pond area like some kuku with all the patients and doctors looking, gonna walk instead. haha.

anyway, working on public holiday is like shiok to the max. the ward is half full, with almost nothing to do. was facebooking all the way on sunday and monday. haha. we even had spring cleaning in the ward for the "Clean & Green Week". gave all the trolleys a good scrub and polish. all looked so shiny and the reflections are so clear. *thumbs up* :))
some patients even asked, "scrubbing trolleys also part of missy's job ar?" LOL!



have been working for consecutive 8 days already. finally today's an off day for me! happy :))

my back pain is like getting worse :(( all my patients are so much heavier than me that i always strained my back transferring them :(( even proper transferring techniques doesnt help at all!!rahhhhh!!!!

super duper drained out at work for the past few days. workload is getting heavier and heavier. though it helps to pass time but me dont like :(( aching neck muscles and my back pain is hurting like f* :(((((((( plus i got right eye infection like again, maybe due to expired contact lens. but then i still continue to wear it though my eyes swell like alot. stubborn i know.

i've got so much things on my mind. its either yes or no, right or wrong. how i hate it when it started out so nicely but it ended like shit.

i cant think straight anymore. my brain cells are overexhausted. off to bed.

sixth sense

work is getting more challenging. have been doing resus almost everyday. sigh, no good. this morning is even more hectic, haven even start am shift, 2 collapsed cases at the same time. need to go another ward to borrow e-trolley. active resus = cpr continuous. have to run 2 sides at the same time. been sending cases up to MICU so many times that they can recognise we're from ward **.

think i strained my back too much. hurts pretty bad now :((




anyway, signed up for this year Nike Human Race 10km since i missed last year race :))


been spending way too much lately. there's still like 2 more weeks to payday. SIGHHHH!!! :((

back from Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 10km :))








clocked a timing of 1hr 10mins :D

weather was quite good. thankfully it wasnt very sunny cos it was drizzling during the run. the route was rather difficult to run, with alot of upslopes = use more energy :(( went for foot massage after the run, and got drenched in the rain :(( but it was worth it, the foot massage was shiok :))

my wisdom tooth is growing. the last time it grew, there wasnt any pain at all. but this time round it hurts damn bad. damn sad can. they say it will hurt for half a year, crossed fingers and hope its not true!!!! =X


yesterday morning i did CPR for almost like 10mins. thank goodness we are able to revive the patient. life is really unpredictable at times.


i know its not right. but if the other started it first, its not my fault then. right?

great time spent on saturday night at YangZhen 21st Bdae chalet :))



lots of fun, seeing people that i didnt see for a long time. yeah. ended up only 2 hrs of sleep before i go work on a sunday morning. overslept and was stoning in the ward for the whole morning.plus there's shortage of staffs that morning, worked like mad. even the docs asked if im really okay. haha.


thats why sometimes i really hate to touch alcohol. the aftermath of drinking though not drunk always makes me think alot, must be the effect of it. will then think and think and think through lots of stuff, but ended up with no conclusion.


this week roster is totally f* up. pm am pm am pm am.
wad kind of schedule is this??!!

work has been tiring for the past week. 4 staffs went on maternity leave tgt, another 4 staffs on MC. very very shortage of staffs to work. plus the workload is getting heavier, have to slog very very hard :((


many staffs coming down with flu, sore throat. including our doctors too. the flu bug is like e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e . seems like the masks is not useful =x thankfully our dear doctors are good :)) cracking jokes and making us laugh during work to brighten our day :))
