the last day of being student nurse

Graduation for School of Health Science (Nursing)

is on 26th May 2009, tuesday

Aww, i really gonna miss school :((

2&1/2 months of holidays before i start work

either going Taiwan/Thailand/Langkawi/Genting with friends :))

meanwhile i shall continue to work to feed myself :((

caught THE WEDDING GAME ytd night :))

today is the last day, well, to be exact, 2nd last day of PRCP
cos tmr is the last day whereby we have to go back NYP for Grad Briefing
and everybody is like so overly excited
the joy & satisfaction that we felt when the Nurse Manager goes,
"Congratulations, you all have passed through PRCP"

3months, its neither long nor short
its just right for us to learn everything that we supposed to
seems like so ytd where we dread PRCP sooo much,
and now in a blink of eye, its OVER :)

LOVE my ward ppl.
they really gave lots of guidance & learning opportunities
& we treated them to PIZZA today :)
in turn, they treated us BLACKFOREST CAKE :)


HR department called today
& im unofficially employed by CGH
got to go down next week to sign contract with them.


tomorrow's GRAD briefing,
and then its time to PARTY !!! :D

Disappointment

doing last minute spring cleaning for my room
have yet to pack my study table & wardrobe
everything is super messy
my mum threatened to throw everything out :(


went grandma hse for reunion lunch this year
& i already recieved many many angbaos ! :)
cant wait for tmr when i can collect more!!

when everything seems wrong

i think work is getting better. i think.
i took 14 cases today. all patients under my charge.
and im glad that i can managed all the workload.
just few more days till PRCP ends.
just few more days till i become a SN.
cant imagine the amount of stress that i'll be facing.


fuck. if you think im the one who said it,
then i got nothing else to say.cos i didnt even
mention anything regarding that issue to others.
for what will i want to say to make things worse for them?


i dont want to know anymore things.

i told myself not to cry,

but still i did. WHY?

when things dont go right

i feel like ignoring that person

supposedly working at clinic, but i cancel it
went down to eastview for orientation prep instead

worked morning shift
mind totally switched off
again went down to eastview for orientation prep

Friday

work is crazy that day, everything is like chaotic
rushed down for orientation
& everything turns out well (:
appreciates all for the hard work & help :D

Today

mind was blank, way too tired
dragged myself to work, just going through the motion
and some ppl spoil my mood


was f*ing angry on some issues. but well, since its already over, i shant say much either.

dont distort what others say. dont try to force people also. end up you'll gain nothing from it.


am begining to turn into a workaholic.

am happy for her too. L1R5 = 12 L1R4 = 9 :)
well, she chose to go poly and not JC.
its her choice, hope she can get into the course that she wants (:


year 2 's are in for attachment already.
the ward staffs are damn happy to see more pairs of hands to help them luh.
and yeap, meihua is in my ward for attachment too.
so coincidence (:
even the staffs and lecturer are commenting that their uniform is not nice.


one day 24hrs is definitely not enough.
holding on to 3 jobs. damn damn tiring.

whats on your mind

been long since an update.

have been working and working very hard these days. am done with my 3 night shifts already. thankfully camps had trained me to tahan through the nights without sleeping. my 3 nights were peaceful. except for the 2nd night where there's restless patients and we have to 'fight' with her, nails damn long = many injuries on our arms.

the wards are not really creepy at night. just very very dark, and occassionally some sounds here and there, which you will tend to brush it aside cos you dont wanna scare yourself and just pretend that nothing happened.

actually night shifts are quite fun, but it totally drains all your energy out. so by the next morning, our brains are not working already, and you just want to lie on the bed and sleep till its time for you to report for work again.


juggling between tuitions, hospital attachments, clinic work and sjab.


the 9th week coming to an end already. 10th week next. left with 2 more weeks till the end of PRCP. the transition stage is like damn fast. now waiting for call from HR dept for interview, ward sister already recieved email regaring our application (:


i need a break.

a new year, a new start

HAPPY 2009 :D

last night countdown was awesome.

the fireworks are damn damn nice (:

crowd was great at Marina Square.

everybody got high when the the clock hit 12 MN.

drank like 6-7 bottles of Breezer. machiam like soft drinks.

then it was even more high after that.

went to look for the other grp of friends.

and kennethchia got drunk. AGAIN.

woohoo. and it got videoed down.

lets hope 2009 will be a GREAT YEAR :)
