some dumb things happened last night. slipped on the stairs, resulted in sprained ankle. & its still pain and swelling a lil now. despite the pain, i can still laugh all the way home, my friend thinks that im crazy :)) but seriously, im having some difficulty walking now :((
alert for Swine Flu has been raised from Yellow to Orange.
going through the scanner every morning. hospital entrances have all been locked, leaving ONLY the A&E entrance open. temp checking twice a day. Restricting no. of visitors going up to wards. those having fever will be sent to A&E immediately. Full PPE and N95 masks to be worn for all staffs.
Orange Alert Means:
- Wearning GOWNS/GLOVES/MASKS when attending to patients
- no transferring of patients from wards to wards
- no transferring of patients from hosp to hosp
- all staffs to be in scrubs suits
- no elective operations unless emergency cases
- students nurses are to stop their attachments for time being
- PRCP students are not to go back to ward
annuals leave for staffs may be cancelled due to shortage of manpower. pray hard and hopes that it wont go up to Red Alert.
now its all about infection control and MORE INFECTION CONTROL !!
