hmm. its been quite some time since i last blogged ba. so many things have happened in this short period of time. well, mostly is sad stuffs ba.

my grandfather passed away last friday. and i really really very sad. moodless to do anything, to talk or wadsoever. at that time, i just wanna hug someone. but.. nvm. din go for snco course day 3 cos i got to go for the wake at my grandparents house.

the moment i saw him, my tears dropped. haiz.

stayed at the wake for the whole of saturday and sunday. rushed home to complete my assignment and went back to the wake again. only slept for like 2 hours for both days.

went for attachment on monday with totally no mood at all. did quite a lot of mistakes that day. luckily i din serve medication, who knows i might serve the wrong one and thats it lar. duh. was just waiting for the time to pass.

tuesday was the funeral for my grandfather. din went for attachment. send my grandfather his last journey. cried at the memorial hall. last time im going to see my grandfather before he was sent in...

my eyes became swollen after days of crying.... not just for my grandfather....

wednesday was back for attachment and went to buy my acessories for my safari uniform and shoes with evelyn. decided to head to vivo. dun want to walk past certain shops, cos it will just remind me of.....

thursday and friday had afternoon shift for attachment. that was really very very tiring. so many things to do in the ward. and certain staffs are really very irritating. they think that students nurses are very easy to bully, ask us to do so many things and they themselves went for break. Grr...

and friday is the last day of attachment for all. 3 week in ward 47, surgical and orthopedics ward. learnt many new things from the staffs there. they all are really nice and friendly to work with except for some of cos. a little of bu she de to leave the ward lor. then we all gave a card and some buscuits. chocolate and sweets to staffs of ward 47. enjoyable 3 weeks there. =)

spent friday night doing up my safari uniform. the rank is like so difficult to put on lar. waste my precious sleeping time. bleahx.

but im back to the ward on saturday cos i got to make up for tuesday when i din go for attachment. luckily there's another girl to accompany me cos she was sick on tuesday. yupps. day passed quite quickly ba. and after that rushed home to bathe and went to cab down to chung cheng high for workpan seminar.

speaking of the taxi driver, he din noe where chung cheng high is, dunnoe where goodman road is. omg. and i had to look up in the street directory for the directions for him. luckily i asked kristin for the road name if not i also dunnoe how to direct the driver.

and kristin, u say the driver will noe where ur sch is cos ur sch is OLD, but i dun think so. hahaha.. lolx.

reached there arnd 4 plus. was about to go into the lecture thearte. but my lecturer called me, so i stood outside and talked to her for like 1 hr plus. and by the time i end the call, the zone presentation was over. LOLX. nvm lar. proceed to have the snco ceromony cos it was raining outside. and it marks the end of SNCO 2006.

had a photo taking session later.

nice getting together with ppl from your batch. saw lots of people from snco'04. haha. took a group photo with them. i LOVE snco' o4 batch =).

tooks lot of pictures ytd. and great catching up with those that i have not seen for quite some time. =). guess the next event i'll see them will be during Inter - Corp First Aid Competition in March.

went to do project todae at bugis. still din manage to complete it. and there's 2 more days to the biology presentation. Grr. have to rush the project in sch tmr.

bought a wallet todae. omg. im like totally broke now le. shall survive on bread and water lor. lolx.

remind me not to go shopping until next month.

attachment have ended. and now its back to school le. 3 more weeks of school and its EXAM TIME !!!! think i have forgotton most of the stuffs taught before the holidays lor.

SADDEST MOMENT.

woke up in the morning and it was raining like quite heavy?? the worse part is when im going to bathe. duh. the heater was spoit ytd thus this morning i bathe with cold water. wth lar. the water is damn cold can. so shivering and when i bathe finish le, keep sneezing lar. Ah Choo !!!

pavement was flooded with water lor. makes it difficult to walk. lolx. overslept and was nearly late for attachment lar. luckily i live near the hospital, if not confirm late wan.

speaking of attachment, 2nd week of work is over liao. left with 5 more days of work !! this week seems to fly past so fast. wasnt really concentrating on my attachment, was thinking of other things. my fingernail was chipped off when im doing bed making for the patient. accidentally brushed my finger over the side of the bed. luckily it din bleed, just became swollen and painful. haiz. thats wad hapen when you dun pay attention to what you are doing.

phew. the test given by the clinical instructor wasnt that difficult after all. i still can ans most of the questions. =)

!!! deadline on mondae. case study still not done. information collected still not enough. just simply dun feel like doing it at all. bleahx.

snco course day 3 tmr. not going so early ba since im not invloved in the morning activity. lolx. gonna have breakfast with kristin and siauling first before going to the school. =) haha.

why am i always sick when im having my attachment?? last year first attachment also sick, coughing and having flu. this time round is coughing lor. the feeling sux can cos its like not very nice to keep coughing in the ward but i did. ARGH!!! whole week keep drinking liang cha lor. cos mummy say i have been coughing for like 3 weeks liao. duh.

these days keep listening to the song, '' one more try '' by A1 which is my blog song lor. it just seems so....

was waiting for ya reply ytd. kept checking the phone. but u din. haix. felt so down. maybe u dun see a need to reply or wad. the whole week, din sms much, din talked much on msn too. haix. why is it like that?? haix.

din manage to sleep well last nite. keep turning in the bed. closed my eyes but cant seems to get into dreamland. duh. end up lie in the bed for 2 hrs plus then fell asleep. bleahx. slept for 3hrs only lar.

then this morning quite hectic lor. everyone was so sleepy and the ward was so busy. at first all blur blur lor, then when clinical instructor come, all start to get alert liao. haha. bathe so many patients todae. lolx.

end of the day, our clinical instructor wrote down comments for us on our clinical handbook. haha. got positive comments from her. =) now waiting for end of the posting, then will get comments from sister. =)

my case study is not even half done. and there's a test tmr. Grr...

din really know wad i was doing the whole of todae. was just going through the motion lar. haix.

bleahx. realised i have been spending money like nobody business. going broke when its not even in the middle of the month. shit lor. and there's still lots of stuffs that i need to buy. wonder how i am going to survive till the end of the month with the amt of money i have now. =(

todae very busy can. at first 4 patient discharge le. but then within 1 hour, 4 new patient came in. duh. busy busy with new admission. then got lots of stuffs to do. busy all the way till dinner time, which also dragged. lolx. finished eating and was back to the ward again. finally can relax when shift ended at arnd 9 plus.

=) a patient wanna show his graditude to us cos we took care of all his needs. and he gave us a box of Ferrero Rocher. lalala. and each person got 3 !! of cos i know i cant eat so the chocolate is now sitting in the fridge. when i recover im going to eat them all. hahaha.

well, i shld be going to bed now. eyes can barely open le. tmr shift starts at 7am.

its just few hours only and im going to be back to the ward. ARGH !!!

too many handwashing can cause dryness of the skin lar. duh. 1 day dunnoe wash how many times. And the soap used is not the normal soap can. is the quite strong de lor. wash wash wash until the skin so dry. Grrr…

accidentally cut my finger ytd when im doing dressing for patient lor. =( dunnoe why, while cutting the micropore tape then cut my finger. bleahx. bleed lar. lolx. so bu xiao xin. duh. lucky its not a dirty scissors lor.

ytd juz stepped into the ward for awhile only then my stomach complain liao. lolx. im hungry lar. but bo bian. Just started work only, then must wait for break time. But break time also drag cos got lots of stuffs to do. then 5 plus then go for break. but 7 plus I went for dinner. lolx. obviously I still can eat cos im HUNGRY. Lalala.

ended shift quite late ytd. lolx. got 1 interesting procedure done by doctor. but i see awhile then i dun dare to continue to see le. lolx. quite complicated ba. haha. then todae my friend, zhenyong got drive car. haha. his father good mood then let him use the car. lolx. then he send me home then send his gf home. lolx. his driving skills can say still quite okae lar. only when he is reversing the car, that part a bit……lolx. hahaha.

having afternoon shift todae. yawns. best part is, tmr is morning shift. duh. its damn TIRING can. go home rest for FEW HOURS and its back to the ward again. Grr. how to rest lar. next day confirm very tired de.

well, attachment tmr. long long day again. this time round is afternoon shift. from 1pm to 9pm. hope time can pass faster. and 10 days of attachment will soon be over. suddenly feel that attachment is like very sian. no mood to go for it also. damn it lar. where's my passion for nursing?? where did it go??

did some orientation in the ward early in the morning. well, as wad evelyn had said, the sisters and staffs there are all very very NICE (: haha. so friendly lar unlike my last ward de. lolx.

after orientation and all starts to get very busy le. bathing patient, feeding them, taking their vital signs, attending to them, documenting stuffs, tidying up the ward, did dressings for patient, observing staff nurses doing chim procedure for the patient. GOSH !!! our break time was also delayed lar. duh.

ate quite alot during lunch but it doesnt seems to satisify my stomach. lolx.

and i realised that im feeling hungry throughout my shift. (:

was given an assignment to do and it is due on the 15th Jan lar. how are we supposed to collect all the necessary informations and submit a UP-TO-STANDARD work within such a short period of time?? grrr.

i HATE assignments !!!

HAPPIE NEW YEAR ' 07 =D

haha. first day of year 2007. lolx.

ytd went to watch deathnote 2 at plaza sing. the show was damn nice can. and there were a lot of people watching it too. =) lolx. show last for about 2hrs plus plus ba. then went to my friend hse for countdown. haha. decided to countdown at home cos outside is way too crowded and you can see nthing much but juz ppl's head lor. hahaha.

went to her hse. they ordered pizza to eat. =) and watched dvds to pass time until midnite. yupps. and it was HAPPIE NEW YEAR !!!! lolx.

lolx. watched tv. played poker cards till 4 plus in the morning and all went to be pig le. haha. slept till 11 plus in the morning. and i reached home arnd 6pm like that.

COUNTDOWN WAS FUN !!!!!

but now my right ear seems to be blocked le. sianz. only can hear things using left ear. bleahx. =(

start of new year means sch is going to start too. but attachment comes first. 3rd Jan will be the first day of attachment in the surgical ward. sian. this time round attachment going to last for 3 weeks sia. and there's no allowance to take cos its during school term. bleahx.

and after attachment will be semestral exams and then its vacation. but my next attachment is going to take up 3 weeks of my holidays. meaning that i'll only have 3 weeks of holidays left. lolx.

year 2007 is going to be a BUSY year for me !!!

merry christmas to all !!

lolx. ytd was great. went to orchard to walk walk. and catch the movie '' night at the museum '' at cineleisure. haha. the movie was funny can. everything came alive in the night. hahaha. was thinking of watching '' curse of the golden flower '' but there is no availiable time slots. lolx.

after that went to suntec. went to eat dinner at swensens. =D thanks. too bad i cant eat the ice cream. grr. its okae. i will wait. after i recover i can eat all i want. hahaha.

took a walk to esplandae. lolx. there's a lot of people there can. lolx. all in christmas de mood. lalala. lolx. sat there for awhile then went off liao. lolx. then walk here and there.

reached home at 12 plus.

i cant believe that i spent almost whole of sunday sleeping. lolx. actually i woke up at 2plus in the afternoon. but was too lazy to get up so i just lie in bed. end up i fell asleep again. and woke up at 7 plus in the evening. lolx.

i din go for the christmas eve dinner at my uncle's hse. firstly, even if i go, i couldnt eat any of the food there. its all fried food and so tempting can. lolx. secondly, i woke up late. haha. but mostly is cos of the first reason lar. lolx

so now im stuck at home alone. so bored and hungry can. hahaha.

santa claus is coming to my hse in like 2 hrs time. wahahha.

ytd had cca fair in school. reached there at arnd 9.30am. lolx. do this do that. had lunch after that. and recruitment start at 4 plus like that. hmm. can say it was quite well done. good job ppl. =D after that packed up and had some talks.

all of them went coffee shop to eat. but i went home since i had no wei kou to eat. now i know why the whole of ytd i feel so sian. cos im falling sick. =( journey home ytd was quite slow as i was feeling rather sick. reached home bathe and was shivering like nobody business after that. bleahx. =( din eat my dinner as my throat hurts ALOT when im swallowing. =(

so went to bed with an empty stomach. had fever. the whole night was terrible can. keep feeling hot and cold. bleahx. was impossible to have a good night sleep.

woke up at 1 plus todae with a slight headache. and fever is gone. but my throat still hurts ALOT can. grrr.. and my mama gave me lots and lots of herbal tea to drink. lolx.

still feeling rather sick now. =(

Fridae – Camp Day 1

booked in in the night. had to settle some administration stuffs first. well, nthing much, everything ended arnd 12 like that.

got my team name tag and camp name tag.

Meeting and more meetings after that. Only had 45 mins sleep that dae.

Saturday – Camp Day 2

Pt in the morning. was very very fun. long time din do exercise le. and it feels good to be running like that. hahaha. did jumping jacks, squats, push ups and many others. but the squats is the one that made all of us have muscle ache. It was painful can. had hard time walking arnd. lolx.

had situational test, team and platoon activities after that. all was rather fun. =D 1 hr plus of sleep was what we had that day.

Sunday – Camp Day 3

did triage for that day. and had social night in the night. was an indoor one due to the heavy rain. lolx. Social night was very fun. MC was good at leading everybody into high spirits. =D haha. can see that everyone enjoyed themselves. had photo takings of the course afterwards. :) din even sleep on that dae. was busy preparing for the route march in the early morning.

Monday – Camp Day 4

trainees were asked to fall in at 2am in the morning for route march. after a warm up exercise, we started to proceed with the walk. was drizzling that morning. so it was a rather ‘wet’ walk. Haha. fast walk from Tampines Secondary School to East Coast Park with Sir William leading. was feeling rather energetic throughout the whole route march. lolx. Cheers and encouragements from each other kept all of us going. =D

reach there wanting to see sunrise but the weather wasn’t that good so din manage to see. had a mini presentation of certificate to the trainee at East Coast Park. Then it was photo taking sessions. Haha. took lots of photos. =) board bus back to school.

was already very very tired by the time we reach school. then had to rush assessment forms. Conduct interview with the trainees. Had internal and course debrief. and camp officially ended. =D

It was raining quite heavily when it was time for us to go home. so had to wait till the rain was smaller before going back. was already very tired and lazy so juz took cab back home. Lolx.

nthing much just that I went out the whole day. =D

Wednesday – 20th dec 06

had class bbq at East Coast Park. lolx. went there twice in a week. Haha. met them at 3pm then we went to Parkway Parade to purchase some stuffs for the bbq. the weather was very good that day. Sunny and nice. =D quite a lot turned up for the bbq. the food was very delicious can. Haha. Yummy . =) left with only 11 ppl in the night. went for night cycling to bedok jetty. lolx. went there arnd 3 times in a day liao. lolx. muscles was aching terribly after all the cycling. =( had a difficult time walking. lolx.

it rained so heavy in the early morning lar. I was in the tent and water was like coming into the tent. Dots. so the tent was rather wet and it was quite sandy lor. Haha. but I still to manage to lie down comfortably. =D

still raining very heavily in the morning. so had to bring everything into the shelter. Lolx. everybody was wet lar. Bleahx. pushed all the bikes to mac and sat there to wait for the bike rental shop to open which is at 9am. Ate breakfast there, was just too hungry lor. Lolx. returned the bike and i cab home. =)

oh ya. Received my early birthday present from them =) thanks girls.

nthing much to write about since i booked in at night and missed all the activties. lolx.

Camp day 2

=D went sentosa to have amazing race. haha. it was fun can. walking, jogging and running around the whole sentosa. lolx. my team came in FIRST =D . after that went to watch musicial fountain. and was back to sch at 10 plus plus.

Camp day 3

last day of camp. had pt in the morning. followed by awards presentation in the afternoon. well, our TIC for evsjab for 13 years is leaving already. haix. he's been a great teacher, always so encouraging and concern towards us. All the Best to You , Mr Lau.

was damn tired throughout the whole camp but i enjoyed it. =D


hmm. sch next day. but i skipped class. lolx. haha. was jux too tired to get up to go school. lolx. so juz went for tutorial in the afternnoon.
